Chateau de Moulin le Comte is a lovely 19th century manor house hotel. It is full of character and our bedroom was massive with lovely traditional furnishings but with a great modern bathroom, again ,massive. It is located in a peaceful part of France that people usually drive past either to or from the ports. We would happily stay in this peaceful picturesque part of France for longer and definitely stay at this hotel. The owners are friendly,attentive and efficient. We had dinner the hotel, set menu which was lovely and incredibly good value.

Very clean room, cozy bed and comfortable chairs. Feels like a new space. Bathroom and shower were top notch. A dining area with fridge were also very useful. Host was very kind and welcoming when we arrived and had a nice breakfast waiting for us in the morning.

Lovely and the bed so comfortable - and then the breakfast …. I ate a whole weeks calories it was so nice. Could not recommend enough and this will be our stooping off place for Calais trip in future. Love it . And all I will say to the odd people who say “ eggs would be good” - “ owner doesn’t speak English” is go to Center oarcs . This place is fab

I would recommend the Chateaux, we have stayed here many times, the new owners have maintained the excellent standards of the accommodation , it well situated from the shuttle terminal 45 mins by car, and our dog loves the big secure garden

We had an overnight stay en route through France, in very hot weather. The location was a little out of the way for motorway travel, but it was outside the main town, so quiet. The accommodation was comfortable and clean with good facilities. The staff were good - we understood each other. We would go again

The town is a sleepy hollow.
The town is a sleepy hollow. It’s just over 1.2km from the chateau it was a pleasant walk in. Not a lot during the daytime but what was open was excellent. We also drove into St Omer which is much larger than Aire-sur-la-Lys and has a lot more going on.
