Really appreciated Emily and her family they were great hosts/guides. spear fishing was one of the many highlights along with picureesque views above and underwater good bush ,Coconut husking and even got to play vollyball with the locals who were really friendly, also had a good laugh playing cards with the Fijian boys! Sure food wasn't 5 star but it was tasty and there was always enough (even for my 2 teenage sons). If your happy to forego some luxurys Wai Makre is an amazing experiance in a stunning location. Thanks Wai Makre crew!

The staff were fantastic, we felt so welcomed and felt an immediate connection to them all. They were supportive of our dietary requirements (vegan) and they provided plenty of activities (not on Sunday though). The hike up the mountain gave incredible views, second to none. Well worth staying there just for that.
