Great place to stay in Inari. Overlooking the lake & right next to the safari/activity centre. Good breakfast, comfortable beds & friendly staff. Only downside was the limited TV channels (not that we went to Finland to watch English TV) & limited cleaning/towel change etc. When we visit Inari again we will stay here
This peaceful, family-run hotel is located by Inari’s Juutuanjoki Rapids, 800 metres from the Sami Museum. Its restaurant offers seasonal dishes and river views.

The room was a lot larger than I expected and very comfortable. Also the room was quiet, even though one night there was a loud party going on pretty much next door in the same building (which I only noticed when I was actually outside the building). The breakfast buffet was also good with a large selection.
Lake Inari Mobile Cabins offer glass bedrooms allowing guests impressive views of the arctic surroundings and if lucky enough, the Northern Lights.

First of all the concept in itself is great to put a cabin in the middle of the lake and watch the northern lights. The hosts are wonderful and their willingness to share their knowledge is great for the stay.

The location on the island surrounded by the frozen lake is superb. We loved the cottage with all its amenities (hot shower, sauna, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable couch, fire place) and the lovely veranda where we had our morning coffee watching the sun rise. The remoteness, silence and beautiful light make it a magical place, it was breathtaking. In addition, Jonas and Matt are great hosts, reliable and friendly. We did a snowshoe hike with Jonas and he is a great guide as well, knowledgeable, helpful and funny. We are looking very much forward to stay there again!

The accommodation is in an ideal location for viewing the Northern Lights – we saw them for three consecutive days! It's also close to the river, and the heating, fireplace, and sauna allowed us to experience the Arctic Circle lifestyle. Laundry facilities were convenient, and it should be equally enjoyable in the summer!

We arrived in the evening and immediately saw the Auroras above the lake. Pure magic. If you want to experience the serenity of the finnish wilderness, you will love every detail of this cabin. It was cosy, warm, beds were comfortable.

All four of us loved the cabin itself! Located at about a 15-min drive from Inari town, this cabin is perfect for anyone looking to get away from anything, in the summer or in the winter. We went there in December, and as you can see from some of the pictures, it's situated at the edge of the lake and has a wonderful view. It was comfortable enough for 4 people. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots and pans you would need along with some basic condiments. The attached sauna is a great additional feature to have. Because the cabin is so far away from everything else, you will be able to see the northern lights in the winter from the deck of the cabin itself, as we did, provided you are lucky enough.
This Finnish Lapland property offers traditional cabins and a waterfront sauna next to Lake Inari. Guests can enjoy free parking and a beautiful setting surrounded by nature.

- Incredible view from the aurora cabin, it felt magical to sleep under a sky of stars, to wake up to a beautiful lake Inari covered in snow, the main advantage to stay in an aurora cabin: spotting aurora from the bed! Saved us having to wait in the cold and dark outside the cabin, we could observe the aurora from the cabin and quickly put on winter gear heading out for photos! even taking aurora photos inside the cabin was great! It was an amazing experience staying in the aurora hut.
- Nice heated floor
- Simple and delicious hotel breakfast
- Friendly and helpful staff
- A space to put on and take off winter gear so you don't dirty the floor inside
- Adjustable lighting

We went on a snowmobiling trip and a dog sledding trip. We liked both but really enjoyed the dog sledding more. The cabins on the lake at night, when the northern lights came out, were perfect. Yes it was cold but we could go in an out of the cabins and take pictures as the northern lights waxed and waned. Truly a fabulous adventure that cannot be replicated at a hotel.

Pretty little town, beautiful nature, very few people in the streets. Northern lights!!
Not many places to eat or to go out to, but it wasn't a problem for us. There's also a big museum and a cultural center there, hotels, a souvenir shop and supermarkets, and generally many things specially for the tourists. There is apparently no public bus going between Inari and the Ivalo airport (only Inari and the Ivalo town), but it's possible to book a shuttle bus.

We stayed at Hotel Inari.
We stayed at Hotel Inari. View over huge lake from hotelroom and restaurant - and you can walk by foot or snowshoes or skis on the lake or ride snow mobile. Mini villlage, totally quiet, yet supermarket just across the road and tours in the area starting next door without any disturbance. Nice room, good breakfast though a bit crowded for Covid conditions at least at rush time (9 am) and probably winter holiday in Finland. Much much better to go to Inari than to Ivalo. Very friendly and helpful people, and many wonderful tours available.

Kind of remote town middle of nowhere, next to lake Inari.
Kind of remote town middle of nowhere, next to lake Inari. Not much to do if you'd like to downhill skiing or party but if one likes nature, calmness and clean, healthy atmosphere, then Inari is beautiful place. Especially during winter months. Dogsled rides, cross country skiing or such.

It was one of my best accommodations thrue the trip to the nordkapp.
The location is directly on the lake, close to the village of Inari and on the gate to Lemmenjoki nationalpark.
The house was cordially a former sami-school, now renovated as a hotel. An electric sauna in the house, as well as a wood heated sauna on the lake are available, as well as bikes, kajaks and organised icefishing and snowmobile trips.
Breakfast is delicious and even the dinner perfect, self made by the host and containing local food as reindeer and fish.
Great staff. They guided us to an extraordinary location for spotting the Northern lights, and we did! Perfect apartment with everything you need. I just loved the way they were prepared for my one year old - perfect crib and kid-friendly moomin cutleries. Beds are extraordinarily comfy - top class — 5 star hotel level. Proper siZed kitchen. Larger than traditional kitchens. A minute walk from the hypermarket.
Whole apartment is so clean and exactly the same as you see in the pictures.
One of the best experiences of my trip, it’s an amazing experience slept overnight in the middle of the frozen lake with Aurora view (Not the best night but still saw some lights at that night). Our host and owner, Esko really friendly, helpful, and such a nice person, and our chef, Atte was an awesome cook that cooked a super yummy Moose Meatball dinner. Definitely will return again in the future and stay for couple nights. Thank you Esko, Sari and Atte for the wonderful hospitality.
Luxury bungalows with glass walls, very warm and comfortable. Big bathroom. The position is unbeatable: right on the lake, in the forefront to Northern Lights show, perfectly visible from the shoreline. Very conveniently placed for the excursions with VisitInari.
wonderful location in front of the lake. having a glass cabin is the best to see auroras. we saw it twice directly from our bed.
very nice sauna and restaurant as well. the hotel also organizes excursions and it is a hassle free service. very easy to join.
Easy check in, location very secluded and opposite a lake, owner has prepared tons of facilities that are ready available to use including camp fires and snow sledding if one is interested. Sauna was amazing. Would visit again if travelling to Inari.
Amazing location. We could observe aurora lights from the lake Paatari nearby. The road can be a bit tricky if the weather is bad (snow storm).
The house is also beautiful. The Jacuzzi is very nice. The morning view is appeasing.
This is really a brand new hotel with all facilities new. We only stayed one night and the breakfast was generous. It has good location. The hotel is right on the side of Inari Lake and there is also a unique sauna by the lake.
The combination of modern house and igloo, which allows us to enjoy the starry night and northern lights comfortably inside the room. Close to lake, easy to hunt northern lights. Also loved the breakfast and dinner buffet.
Idyllic location overlooking Lake Inari. Fantastic restaurant for dinner and breakfast. My room was lovely and had a private sauna. Walking distance from Siida (Sami museum) and hiking trails.
Best part of the place is stay is the location. It is on the lake shore. We had a good view of northern lights. Staff is very helpful. Snow was cleared on roads and from front of outage.
Hotel Inari is a very nice place. The restaurant = breakfast area has a great view to the lake Inari. The bar and pub area is very cosy and the personal very nice and helpful.
Wonderful experience to do in Inari, it is a really atypical and magical night on the icy lake under the northern lights. Atte is a very nice host, everything was perfect
Very quite place at a lake. Calming atmosphere, idyllic for swimming, sitting outside at a fireplace in the evening and have self-made pancakes for a breakfast!
