I’m going to start with the bed: a proper, real sprung comfortable mattress of a standard you’d have at home. The location: a balcony room with a view of the Atlantic, and the quirky feel at sunset of a room in Cuba. Fantastic. The rest: perfectly functional and clean.

Very warm reception from owners. We arrived well before check-in time and they kindly let us have the room early. We had arrived on bicycles in the rain so this was wonderful! Secure underground garage to store bikes. Hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms comfortable. Short walk to a good choice of local restaurants. Also very close is an area of wetland - good for bird watchers! If you are doing the Camino this hotel is very convenient stop. All in all a very good experience!
