Location is very nice, especially during Christmas time.
Location is very nice, especially during Christmas time. Streets are decorated with Christmas lights everywhere. Lot of restaurants nearby. The big shopping mall across the streets ensure that you can buy almost anything you need. For the transport, taxi is safer then rented car. Traffic there is quite intensive during daytime.

Vigo is a a lovely City to visit, Old City has many excellent restaurants with quality seafood and pork in particular. Taxis are reasonably priced and it offers good train and bus services - Porto is only 2 hours by bus if you want to explore. Santiago de Compostela is a short train journey away.
The new transport interchange is pretty impressive with an integrated shopping mall, they are building an observation platform which will offer fantastic views of the city and estuary.

Vigo is a combination of old and new architecture, with all types of stores everywhere. The water view is beautiful as well as the terracotta rooftops. The city is very vibrant, even in the middle of the week; people are helpful. Some of the buildings are not maintained. It appears to be a pet and children friendly city based on the parks around. It is easy to get around, and there are walking escalators for some of the uphills.

Exploring the old town was lovely. It is a very pretty city.
Exploring the old town was lovely. It is a very pretty city. Although hilly! We travelled from England and found that it was very useful to have some basic understanding of Spanish as it does not appear Vigo is a hotspot for English speaking tourists. We spent a day visiting Ceis Island which was wonderful, definitely something worth doing. We then also took a car and went out of the city to do some hiking which was beautiful, and then visited some beaches on the way back to Vigo, near Oia, which again were stunning and worth the trip.

A city worth discovering!
A city worth discovering! The CIES islands remain the point of greatest attraction, without any doubt!
The only unpleasant thing was the fact that at most of the terraces (those in the Constitution Square, for example) you could not order food until after 20:00. So, I only drank beer :)
Zenit Vigo is a quality hotel with excellent standards from the cleanliness to the rooms, bed and shower were perfect. Most of all thank you to the lovely ladies on reception, Rebekah and Maria who were delightful, helpful and could not do enough in helping with any information needed on public transport and local places to eat. They are a credit to the Zenit brand and I will come back again, Gracias
Very nice hotel. Diego, at the front desk was outstanding and went out of his way to make our whole experience exemplary. From checkin to checkout seamless service.
Most importantly, Diego impressively assisted us with resolving a lost property issue with a cafe at a previous stop on the way due to the hotel, as our limited Spainish language was an impediment to resolution. Lovely hotel.
The hosts are very friendly and made us feel welcomed. It was convenient to be located above the cafe/bar, so we could get an afternoon drink and snack. Our room had a lovely terrace overlooking the small plaza by the church. The room had twin beds and was quite small for two people to maneuver about, but it was manageable. The property is walking distance to some great shops and restaurants.
If you take the train it’s perfect across the street, taxi ride from Vigo airport 25EUR. The rooms were very good, only a little smaller than expected. You have to scoot over if you are standing by the foot of the bed to pass by your side of the room. Very updated new bathroom. Staff were nice 👍 breakfast was also good specially the bacon.
The hotel was very nice and the staff helpful. The location was great, just at the train station, so you do not need to wake up too early if you plan to travel with train. Nice breakfast - Spanish mixed with continental, so anyone can find something interesting. The breakfast area is located at the 5th floor with great views.
Firstly the cleanliness of this hotel was immaculate, you can tell the workers and the owner take pride in this establishment.
It should really be listed as a 4 star.
Breakfast was definitely value for money and the receptionist ( Borja ) was excellent, very attentive and knowledgeable in giving advice on what to do in Vigo
This is a wonderful little hotel/accommodation in an amazing location in the old town section of Vigo. The owners are the kindest most welcoming people. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are super clean. Breakfast was terrific! Would stay here again without question!!
We were upgraded to a harbor view and it was lovely! Seeing the hills across the bay in the evening was gorgeous, and then by morning several cruise ships had arrived and it was an interesting opportunity to people-watch from our room. The old town of Vigo was right at hand.
I arrived in Vigo very tired and booked a hotel to sleep and relax. The location is excellent, the staff is polite. I liked the view from the balcony and the big bed. It was clean and comfortable. I was allowed to leave my bag for a couple of hours after checkout.
But..
A no frills, clean, friendly base from which to explore Vigo. The rooms were large, well appointed, very comfortable and good value for money. Easy walking distance to the station, the hotel was ideal for an overnight stop-over.
This hotel is conveniently located at walking distance from the train station and not very far from the Casco Vello and port where the boats to Cíes Islands depart from. The room was larger than average and quite comfortable.
Good location, everything else was bad
the room was SUPER cold, the best is SUPER uncomfortable, we asked for a double bed room and got two beds
the worst experience I had in a hotel in my life
The location is the best you can get, close to the main plaza with the Xmas tree and the rest of the Xmas lights. It was clean and the bed was comfortable.
