Very sweet apartment, although it is little and cozy, it has everything you need. It was very clean, only 30 seconds to the ocean and the host was very friendly.

Such a lovely place, great location only 2 to 5 minutes walk to all the restaurants, shops and bars. The apartment is fully equipped with anything you need. The rooftop is amazing for afternoon sunbathing and the sun terrace for early evening drinks before dinner. Beach is 5 minutes walk away.

If there was an option to give 11 out of 10 - I would! This place is just magical! The atmosphere, the interior, the roof terrace with the jacuzzi, the coffee and tea in the room and the croissant with fruit in the morning.. oh and the bed! You can just tell that they care about this place. Monica was so kind, we could check in earlier, gave us lots of information (we've already been to Fuerteventura and El Cotillo, but still so much to discover) and always available. It was also my birthday, and she organised a small bottle of cava and chocolate easter eggs, I mean how can you not fall in love with this place and the owners. Thanks again so much for the amazing stay, and hope to see you soon!

Enough supermarkets nearby.
Easy to reach by car.
Enough places to eat for a few nights a week but will need to go further if you're staying for weeks.

El Cotillo is lovely for a stroll and to have a drink whilst watching the sun go down. It’s equally good for rock pool swimming and surfing, so depends what you want.
There are a variety of shops, mostly geared to tourists and some hardware stores. There are a couple of supermarkets so easy to get what you need.
Not a resort as such but more occupied by locals, surfers and some tourists (in January anyway).

El Cotillo has been our 'go to' place for the last 10 years. We mostly stay at the same apartments. It is quiet compared to Correalajo..The beach is a couple of mins walk. There are great restaurants in the harbor area. The Beach Suite Cotillo Apartments are exceptional!

Beaches, weather and food was amazing. If you go to the beach be prepared for lots of naked people. I wouldn’t take kids there, very concerning. The locals of El Cotillo know you’re a tourist and they have no problem making you very aware of this fact (long stares, tutting, grumpy and rude attitude) - not all of them of course, but the majority. The vibe of the place is really weird and off, never quite been anywhere like it, made to feel unwelcome and I have travelled the world extensively. The Argentinian restaurant is by far the best if not only place worth going for food (actually seem somewhat friendly and welcoming of tourists) there are no activities unless you go to the marina in the next town over - that town is a lot more friendly and good things to do / busy streets etc. Good for a short break but no longer than 4 days max!!!!

Smaller than most resorts, maintaining an element of it's old fishing past. This was great compared to our first week in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote which was much bigger, busier and more touristy.
However, it can be quiet and this will not suit everybody. There is quite a lot of development to the north outside of the main town, with some large apartment complexes. I fear that it will become too big for the limited facilities in town.

Cotillo is a beautiful relaxing place.
Cotillo is a beautiful relaxing place. It has a charming old town full of character. Beautiful beaches, all within walking distance but if you have a car, you can park pretty much anywhere without having to pay! Places to eat I would recommend are, Olivo Curso, Bar Central, El Tostan, La Marisma, The Blue Cow and Ajueva. Cheapest supermarket is the Superdino on the outskirts of the village and also there is a Chinese shop that sells pretty much everything. Fab Chinese takeaway/restaurant in town and a bakery that sells amazing goods.
El Cotillo has all the facilities of a touristic place without that commercial mass tourism feeling. It is a tremendous place for a quiet sporty holiday and it offers access to some peculiar beaches. Though El Cotillo is a small town, the apartment is perfectly located to access these beaches. The apartment has nothing less and nothing more than what a young couple need, with access to a remarkable terrace. If you get there by car, parking is a no brainer. The host offers a professional level service, meaning, this is serious people.
First of all, the apartment REALLY is situated right next to the beautiful, white-sand Cotillo Beach, it takes somewhat between 60 and 90 seconds to get there, depending on how much coffee you've had :) Fantastic location. It was cozy and super clean, equipped with all I needed during my stay. Also for me, a freelancer working remotely, a fast and stable wifi was a real blessing - something you quickly learn to appreciate when in Fuerteventura. And Jordi must be the nicest host I've ever had (and I'd travelled quite a lot :)
extremely clean and very spacious apartment with 3 floors: 2 bedroom and bathroom + shady outside area downstairs, kitchen/dining/living (huge tv-screen!) area street level, 1 (master-) bedroom with balcony and bathroom upstairs. terrace towards the small street and a small washing, drying, storage area in the back.
Short walk to the wonderful beaches of El Cotillo, short drive to the surfing spots. Small supermarket right around the corner, not too far from bigger supermarket; restaurants, bars, bakery very close by.
Quiet, spacious, perfectly clean modern apartment on 3 floors ("triplex") just 200m from the spectacular coastline with beautiful walks each way up and down the coast. Sheltered, calm lagoon beaches for swimming and snorkeling but also spectacular wild ocean beaches, cliffs and reefs for walking and exploring. Excellent for families. Supermarket just 100m away and french bakery 400m. Cotillo is a lovely, charming fishing village, just the right size, with excellent outdoor bars/restaurants etc.
A charming hotel with fantastic rooftop terrace. The hotel and the rooms are decorated with style and every morning we enjoyed a French style croissant with an espresso on the terrace. Monica is a great host and her travel tips and restaurant recommendations were a great inspiration for our stay on Fuerteventura. She is a former tour guide and guided us to the little secrets of the island. We appreciated a lot her dedication and friendliness.
Nestled in the heart of El Cotillo, this nice apartment offers convenience, with everything you need just steps away – from the sun-kissed beaches to convenient supermarkets, charming cafes, lively taverns, and eclectic shops. The apartment boasts a delightful blend of comfort and style, featuring a cozy living room where you can unwind, a charming rooftop terrace, a comfortable bed for restful nights, and a well-appointed kitchen.
The property was a roomy 2 bedroom 2 bathroom, stylishly decorated. The kitchen had all you need for simple meal prep and there were several beers in the fridge waiting on our arrival. It was a 5 minute walk to restaurants and the old port. It was well stocked with sand toys, a boogey board and umbrella. Parking was easy on the street out front and kite surfers could be watched by driving 10 minutes on a dirt road.
The flat is amazing and you can easily feel comfortable there.
It's bright, cozy, decorated with taste, and the 2 balconies are simply perfect during day or night.
You only need a 5min walk to get out of the city and reach the closest beach, or the center of Cotillo.
And on top of that, the hosts are very friendly !
I will definitely go back next time I'm on the island !

Amazing flat. Fair and competitive price. Perfect location for anyone in town to surf or bodyboard as well, right at the southern edge of town so access to the Cotillo beaches and the amazing Playa de Esquizno is right at your doorstep.
