Amazing room! Very nice and helpful staff! Very good value for money. If you have big suitcase, just think about that this city has only parking outside the old town (for free though), and you have to carry everything with you to the hotel.

Historic building attached to a castle is well located on a nice square in a pleasant medieval town. Public areas like reception, dining room and the salon impress with stunning, recently updated decor that includes modern glass doors, exposed stone walls, high arches, wall paintings, stylish chandeliers and elegant furniture. On the other hand, the hotel part, at least in the main building, is decidedly older, darker as if created in the sixties of the last century and clearly begging for another update. Our superior double room in the main building was actually a surprisingly spacious junior suite with a separate living room and a big, double-sink bathroom. Old fashioned style was evident in heavy, dark wooden floors and furniture, as well as old lamps and small cabinets. All, I guess, well suited for an old castle.
This charming hotel is in the historic old quarter of Medieval Olite, by the Palace of the Kings of Navarra. The Merindad de Olite offers free Wi-Fi in public areas.

A charming hotel in a pretty village. The staff in the restaurant were lovely and very helpful. The food was good and the superior room was very nice overlooking the front with a balcony. I would recommend this hotel.

there is a certain lack of maintenence to this property and it is not suitable if you have any kind of disablity due to being on a slope and uneven and loose paving, the pool lacks maintenence being cloudy and doubtfull surround, the rooms whilst clean are fairly basic, the terrace is not private, other guest can pass through, two mismatched chairs without a table sit there. likewise the meals were rustic and not to our taste is the best way to describe them !! the "air" conditioning was a 12" pedestal fan with a short lead that had to be plugged in near the bed head leaving little room to get in or out and suffer the noise, we will not be returning
