We stayed at Finca Tomaren 3 days and loved the peacefulness of the place. We were seeking a break from the city and we found the perfect relaxation spot!
The place exudes a serene atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a proper break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The Diwal house was charming and the staff was very helpful and always available.

Spacious rooms, good choice of food - plenty of sunbeds free through out the day at most the pools ( not in the adults only pool though) Very clean hotel & grounds - didn't see a single bug anywhere!
Close to the beach & shops. 10 mins from the airport

Ocean view, refurbished room! Absolutely gorgeous! Should be 4*, the only reason why it is 3* because the pool area is a bit dated and they might need to redo the lift, but apart from that, this hotel deserves an additional star! Breakfast was superb as well! The pillows are amazing and the bed was super comfortable!

Food was very good and plentiful with a great variety of foods to suit all people's taste . Great staff very helpful and always in good form. It's a very big hotel compex and it's hard for it not to have some maintenance issues from time to time as you'd expect but overall its a very well kept hotel. There is a lot of older people who obviously have returned to this hotel over the years because they love its location and the hotel and staff..but there is a lot of steps around for people who have walking difficulties it might be a bit of a struggle in some areas of the hotel especially accessing the top pool area where the views are fantastic. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider returning again in the future.

Breakfast is super nice, chef cooked omlette with your chosen ingredients and prosecco on the ready. And everything else you'd expect. Rooms are very well equipped, clean and well maintained, the bed was comfy. Pool area is super fun to hang out in, though there should be more loungers. Spa was amazing, tried the spa and the massage.
Not much to see on San Bartolomo. A couple of hours walking around would be enough. There is a nice little museum and some lovely statues around the town. We could not find a restaurant open in the evenings but there are a couple of bars that serve pretty good food and a pizza place. We were there in January so it may be low season and restaurants close. It's quite handy if you have a car because it's a good centre for seeing the rest of the island
The people were generally polite, nice and helpful. The town itself is spotlessly clean and the white buildings sparkle.

The numerous wineries that surround the town are mostly within walking distance. And so is the famous Casa Museo des Campesino. The local authorities could have done more to popularise it, though. At the moment there is no tourist information office in torn. Fortunately, we managed to get some information from the staff of the Ethnographic Museum, which is worth visiting in its own right too.

The hotel was situated on its own site at La Florida about a 20 minute walk into San Bartolome. San Bartolome was pleasant enough but uninspiring compared to typical Spanish towns of that size based on my experience. I didn't use many facilities in the town as everything I required was at the hotel in La Florida.

Casa Tomeran is just outside this centrally located town. Perfect from which to access all areas of the island. Superrarket, pizzaria, bakery, petrol station. All the things you needs to be self sufficient, or just popping out to get the odd essentials.

San Bartoleme is decieving at first look it appears to have very little, but actually it has a number of small supermarkets which are reasonably good value (at least one opens on Sunday PM), a fantastic Bakery - Lolita which also serves good coffee, a good pizzaria, a few bars, a really good Pharmacy and a few shops. The Chicken shop was the only disapointment.

Very small village in the middle of the island.
Very small village in the middle of the island. Very close to the Volcanoes and wine yards and very quiet at night. Yet just 15 minutes from the Airport and the city of Arrecife. Supermarkets, restaurants, banks, hotels, and gas station available there.
Really nice owner who was always eager to make our stay uncomplicated and gave us recommendations on what to do. Very pleasant conversation and he was always reachable for us. The flat is big and comfortable so we really enjoyed staying there. I especially loved the plants. It is located on the outskirts of town so it was quiet and we never had problems finding a place to park.
San Bartolome itself is a good place to stay, it is not that touristic (which we like) but very well located to discover the whole island.
The elegance of the hotel and its territory and the wonderful staff working in it. I'd especially like to thank the people who served at the bar restaurant (the waiter and the chef) as they very extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in the heart of Lanzarote, in a very peaceful and authentic area compared to more touristic Puerto Del Carmen, for instance. Its position is strategically perfect, you can reach all the popular sites in just 15-30-60 minutes of driving.
Fabulous grounds, pool and accommodation. Scrupulously clean. An oasis in the mountains, with wonderful views. The pool area is perfect and so peaceful.
Very professional and friendly staff. Felt welcomed from the start, just like being at home. Breakfasts delicious, all freshly prepared from high quality produce.
We cannot rate our stay highly enough. A must hotel for the discerning visitor to Lanzarote. Showcases the best the island has to offer.
Through booking we must’ve stayed in over 30 hotels, apartments, and holiday homes but this was by far our best find ever!! Very kind host, extremely clean property, anything you could possibly think of is provided, and the house looks like it was built yesterday. This property is what made our holiday unforgettable!
Excellent location if you need a base to explore Lanzarote on daily basis, availability of free public parking, very spatious and very well equipped apartment with all you need, beautiful gesture by the host who left a bottle of wine and cheese as welcome gifts.
Very clean and comfortable property located within 5 minutes walking distance to the city center of San Bartolomé. After a long way on road, I had a great opportunity to relax and recover for the following days.
Very nice location for those, who like quiet place, nice surroundings, very kind staff, helpful to meet your requests.
If I have possibility to travel there again, for sure I will choose this hotel.
The apartment is situated right next to the town center of San Bartolomé. Smaller supermarkets, cafes, postoffice and a restaurant were easily reachable by foot.
Lovely studio apartment in a quiet location yet 15 minutes walk to bars and restaurants in San Bartolome. Pablo our host was very helpful and friendly.
