The rooms are very spacious. My friend's room actually had 2 rooms where she can separate the LR pull out couch and it was huge. Rm 102. Our rooms were 103 and 104 were next to each other. Breakfast here is excellent and has a wide arrange of choices. There is a fresh squeeze orange juice machine and you can also make your own mimosas.

This is just a most awesome boutique hotel. Roses doesn't do itself justice in the photos and this hotel is one block from the beach in a nice quiet and safe area. It was decorated tastefully and we enjoyed every bit of the property. The breakfast was amazing and the highlight. The staff are so friendly. We stayed two nights. If we go to costa brava again we will stay here a week.

Sweeping around a sandy bay backed by mountains, the fishing port Roses has become one of the most popular Costa Brava resorts. This was partly due to El Bulli, one of the world’s best restaurants, which once graced a neighboring village.
Although that landmark restaurant is now closed, the town still has plenty of eateries and bars with some of the area’s best nightlife. Some are by the long promenade with palm trees beautifully silhouetted at sunset. Around the Bay of Roses, the headland becomes more rugged and the beaches more cove-like. In the opposite direction is the large Roses marina, although the one in next door Empuriabrava is huge.

Above the southern end of town, the star-shaped ruins of the 16th-century Castell de la Trinitat overlook the lighthouse. On the other side of Roses, the Ciutadella is a much larger site containing Greek and Roman remains and partly surrounded by medieval walls. Even older are the Creu d’en Cobertella megalithic structures, one of which is the largest in Catalonia.

We stayed in Canyelles, a small town next to roses. A little bit more intimate than roses, although if you want to really go out roses is right there. A lot (to much) of roundabouts on the way to firgueras, but apart from that easy to reach.

Wide variety of dining places, but a lot serving the same stuff. Had a great meal in TXots and El cellar can roca( not in Roses). Nice to be able to sit and dine in the beach too , in town. Was very busy day and night, and lots of places you have to pay for parking . Was a much larger resort than I anticipated.

Sea front, perfect position. The old town a few yards away, the bus stop also very close. Many very good restaurants serving a large variety of food.Average menu of the day 14/16euros mostly including wine. Buses ran to many other resorts eg. Barcelona, Girona, Cadaques.
The staff were very efficient and friendly and the breakfast was superb. The location on the seafront was ideal and there were beautiful sea views from the balcony. The room was nicely decorated and the minibar stocked with complementary soft drinks daily, which was much appreciated in the hot weather. Ideal spot for beach-lovers. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity. A pleasant 30 minute walk along the seafront takes you to the centre of Roses.
Fantastic breakfast, good location one street away from the beach, comfortable beds and friendly service. The hotel is very close to the bus stop to and from Figueres, so really convenient for anyone who is taking public transport. We enjoyed walking the coastal path to the many local beaches and renting bikes to explore the nature reserve and quaint medieval town of Castell de Empuries.
Great view of water and sunsets from the unit. Location was convenient to a beach at bottom of the hill and extensive park/walking trails along the ocean 10 minutes away. Owner was pleasant and met us on arrival and showed us the unit, Price was reasonable for size of unit. Parking was easy. Well stocked kitchen. Pictures generally accurate.
It's very nice, clean hotel with a great breakfast in an excellent location in the center of the action. The location is a bit noisy at times but that's to be expected. It is also close to the national park that we enjoyed very much. There are many quiet, peaceful places and many magical beaches.

All water sports near by , I must say it's the best property if you're staying at Roses.

The hotel is exceptionally clean, all staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is copious and excellent value. Location is perfect, opposite the beach, wonderful view from the front facing rooms. Wifi good.
The apartment was ideally situated in the middle of Roses town and only 150 metres from the beach. The bed in particular was very comfortable. But everything was good.
