The small town surely has its own charm for certain groups of people, but probably not for families with small children, the beach is not clean, the sand is too rough for kids to play with, and the waves are too strong for swimming, which are very disappointing for my toddler. We did enjoy the hiking path along the coastline though， which was unexpected in my trip planning.

Lloret seems to be quite a sleepy seaside town with not much...
Lloret seems to be quite a sleepy seaside town with not much going on except the beach, but that was fine as that was all we wanted. There were lots of pubs and nightclubs around but 99% seemed to be closed. Again, this was great for us as we dislike that kind of thing! If you want to go for a jog on the beach, or a coastal walk or simply sit on the balcony and be mesmerised by the constantly changing sea view, this place is for you. I had hoped that I would find more Catalan speakers, as I am learning this language. All the shops and signposts are in Catalan, but most people speak Castillian Spanish.
A wonderfully relaxing winter sun holiday for those who want to escape Christmas capitalist overkill.

We also got lost ALOT and ended up walking in dodgy back streets. No signage and constantly on Google maps.
Highlight of the trip was a fantastic steak house down the main high street.
Drinks not as cheap as you would imagine for Spain!

Hotel Roger De Flor is by my opinion the best hotel to stay in Llore de Mar because we had one of the best hollydays ever

Our hotel was good.
Our hotel was good. Lloret De Mar itself was not the right place for me though. Dirty, dark and dingy in places. No good restaurants, all typical tourist traps. Much better to hop on a bus up to Tossa De Mar, nicer beach, restaurants and general vibe.

We traveled from France for a cheap mini break on way to Barcelona, the resort at the time we went was definitely young people, so we would go when it’s out of season.
It’s cheap fun place lots of bars shops and entertainment
We stayed for a week in Lloret De Mar and it was Amazing! The apartment is large and comfy, located in a very main area but not so close to the clubs so it is quiet at night.
Our host Hayk was very generous and helped us with everything we needed. The washing machine is very useful and easy to use. The apartment has a nice balcony where you can drink your morning coffee.
About 6 minutes walk to the center and the central bus station and about 10 minutes walk to the beach!
There are public parking in front of the hotel 4-5 lots and in front of the hotel are some parking places, we were in end of March. It is not in Lloret so I guess it is never crowded parking. Next to hotel is gasoline station and next to is Aldi ( 2min walk) . Great position for in transit or as a cheap stay whole in Lloret de mar. brand new place. You can arrive 24h, they have key code for entrance.
really comfortable beds , room cleaned everyday , friendly staff , lovely buffet breakfast & even though we didn’t have dinner included in our package we had dinner 3 of our 5 nites stay beautiful selection of buffet to select from very tasty .
Fantastic view from sea view room with balcony. so happy I picked it as weather was poor but Hotel Miramar made up for that we enjoyed our stay !
Everything was exceptional. The hotel is super well maintained and very clean. The staff are amazing and always happy to help. Both hosts, Max and James, were very hospitable. The hotel restaurant from our experience turned out to be the best restaurant in the whole of Lloret de mar. We would be happy to come back anytime and really enjoyed our stay here.
Great hotel two steps from the sea and in the heart of Lloret de Mar. The hosts are just great, always care about their guests. Room is big and has everything you may need, including a kitchenette. Special note is about pets - hosts have a beagle Coco, and welcome all the pets with a snack. Will definitely come there again!

Great location for the Lloret de Mar hustle & bustle. Room was nice, with pool view & private bathroom. Pool, spa & gym facilities looked great, but we didn't stay long enough to try them. Staff were very accommodating & polite. Car park under hotel at a cost of €15 per night. Overall, very happy with our stay.
Everything was wonderful: the facilities (first of all) - playing rooms (fusball, air hockey, billiard), ping pong table, pool, the staff, the breakfast was excellent and rich, the price acceptable for summer. Even the location is good, near the town centre and near the beach.

The location of the hotel is good. The meals are tasty and varied. Huge room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and mantras! In my opinion, the hotel is even underrated! It is much better than several hotels with a higher rating that I have stayed in Lloret de Mar.
