It was fairly quiet when we went, despite a large hotel opposite. Roquetas de Mar is a very clean, well maintained resort with all the facilities you might need. The Castillo de Santa Ana is worth visiting as is the small Aquarium. Beaches are lovely(very small stones rather than sandy but not uncomfortable to walk or lay on). The We had hired a car at the airport and found our way round very easily although the bus services will get you to where you need. There is a street market on Thursdays and the Gran Plaza shopping mall has a nice variety of shops and food outlets. We will be back again

We have no idea about Roquetas as we seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. We drove around but didn’t find a town centre. Came back and ate in the Italian restaurant directly underneath the apartment. Quite a bit of noise late at night from the restaurants.

Very quiet location, good for us but maybe not if you like some night life as we didn’t find anything. Maybe just because it was early in the year. Lots of sun beds available, spa was nice. All staff were very polite.

Liked the fact it was a very Spanish resort (didn’t see any other tourists). It was very windy and rather chilly near the seafront which we were not expecting in mid May. Harbour and castle worth visiting. Beach front was hit and miss with places to eat and drink e.g some seemed very expensive , some full of kids, Some fully booked up. Found a nice Italian in the end just before harbour. Harbour bar good too.

The area where the hotel was situated is set up for tourists with most of the facilities one could ask for. If one was prepared to travel down to the marina and port, there one can experience to local ambiance and enjoy a more Spanish atmosphere. Having my own car made life easy, if you hire a car make sure it has sat at or you have Waze or Google on your phone. The Castillo de Santa Anna by the port is worth a visit. Also well worthwhile is a visit to the film sets where a lot of the Spaghetti Westerns were made.

We drove to the beach from our apartment on our way back home, as we had visited Roquetas de Mar for a music concert . We took a long walk along the sea front, it seemed a really nice place to visit lots going on and to do but probably worth staying in one of the many hotels or apartments near to the beach front.

Excellent! The apartment has everything you need to enjoy your stay: fully equipped kitchen, nice terrace to have dinner at the sunset, our daughter enjoyed the swimming pool. You can reach a shopping centre and a beach on foot. Icing on the cake: we were lucky to enjoy the concert of Ara Malokian just by pure coincidence in the theater 2 minutes by foot from the apartment! We only regretted that we needed to go back home after only two nights there.

Not much to be honest. The staff were friendly and helpful though - we were also grateful for the Gratuity drinks for making us wait at check in and the bottle of fizz that seems standard for first time guests. Sadly this didn’t make up for our disappointment at the expense of such a disappointing place. Partly my mistake for booking such a large hotel in peak season, but the photos do not show the reality. It felt like a tired hotel.

It was a very peaceful beachfront hotel, the staff were great. The room was good, it had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was big and comfortable, the aircon was working perfectly well. The entertainment was good and due to the manner the pool was set up it never seemed overcrowded even though the pool/pool sides were full. The food - there was alot of variety which was great with a picky eater.

Two swimming pools. A quiet one and one with music, bar and activities. A good selection for breakfast. The rooms were big . A wardrobe and shelves for our stuff. A comfy bed. A Fridge. Balcony with sea view. Bathroom with walk in shower. Shampoo/gel. The hotel was located next to the beach and on the main strip. Lots of places to eat and drink.

The hotel was amazing. We had a superior suite with Sea view and hot tub. It was hard to leave the room it was that nice. Plenty of tea and coffee provided. Shower gel etc. Dressing gown and Slippers. Pool was lovely, and looked amazing lit up at night. Unfortunately, didnt manage to get to use the Spa during our short stay.
