Juan and his daughter Christina have fully renovated Los Canilleros B&B, a house dating back to 1859, to the highest level. We had a deluxe room. It was spacious, well outfitted and very quiet as is the town of Requena. The bathroom was roomy and exceptionally clean. Breakfast each morning was prepared with care and we were always greeted by either Christina or Juan. There is ample parking available.
A highlight was seeing the cave at the house. It has been restored in the same manner as the house and is a must see! We appreciated Juan organizing a tour of the caves at the main square as well.
EL RINCÓN deMANUELA is located in Requena. Featuring mountain and garden views, this holiday home also has free WiFi.

The location was right in the centre of the old Requena village, all the tourist attractions and restaurants were just a few steps away. The owner came at a scheduled departure time to us how we liked the stay.
This hotel is located in Requena’s Old Town, 45 minutes’ drive from central Valencia. It offers trips to local wineries, as well as a free shuttle to Requena’s AVE Train Station.

It was quaint and we really liked its character!
The view over the square from our room and its proximity ( 100m) to Murviedra winery and other tasting places was ideal . Loved strolling about the old town.

We were just stopping overnight on a long road trip and didn't realize what a gem Requena was. We wished we had booked some winery cave tours in advance. The town has tiny streets and so much charm!

We visited for a visit to bodega Murviedro. The hotel Los Canilleros was wonderful, round the corner from the Bodega and a lovely square with great places to eat and drink. One night and 2 days and everything was fantastic.

Requena is a lovely town with a medieval centre.
Requena is a lovely town with a medieval centre.
It's an ideal place to base yourself for visiting the wine producers many of who do tours.
Murviedro, a top wine producer, have a visitors centre right in the middle of town which is well worth a visit.
There are many places to eat and drink and you can get to Requena from València by train or bus in a couple of hours
We went to a fantastic restaurant called La Dispensa de Sofia which turned out to be a favourite with many if the local winemakers, who we ended up having a drink with!

We stayed in the old town for 3 nights. 2 nights might be enough for some. We pre-booked a wine tour of one of the many vineyards locally. There are limited facilities in the old town. 2 small hotels with restaurants and many Casa Rurals/bed and breakfasts. Maybe a couple of other eating establishments (which were closed when we were there mid week). No food shops and only one or two places to buy/taste wine. The new town is unremarkable but only a short walk away as are other cafes and bars.

Large comfortable room. Very clean & tidy.
Large comfortable room. Very clean & tidy. Extra bedding for cold weather. Safe parking (important to us) .
The evening meal was very good value. The beer was cold, good & value for money. The local red wine superb with dinner. Very enjoyable. Had far worse at ‘restaurants’ and paid 3 times more.
The staff were very helpful & friendly.
Breakfast was limited- but the coffee was excellent & toast & marmalade acceptable - good value at 5 Euros for the 2 of us. We have experienced far worse with vending machine options !!!
Our stay was amazing. A lot of space in apartment, including living room with balcony and bedrooms. we was staying with a small child - a lot of space for him to play (there is also a big child playground close by in La Glorieta). Amenities like washing machine. Great location - close to city center, but modern building. Very friendly and helpful owner - do all the best not only in terms of living, but helping to discover the area. Definetely will choose this property again if visiting Requena.
I chose this property because of its secure parking which didn't disappoint. So many hotels have little or no parking and when you are travelling with luggage it is nice to know your car is safe.the apartment was clean and spacious and the wine we purchased also excellent.
Very authentic and cozy hotel to stay in a historic part of the old city. The ambience is very beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and decorated nicely. The restaurant of the hotel was also just wonderful!
A lovely apartment in a very interesting town. The apartment was warm and comfortable and we loved the local wine that Raul kindly left for us. I really recommend the apartment and Requena is a gem for history and archeological buffs.
It’s exactly what it says on the tin. A low cost tourist hotel. The room was spotless and comfortable. The proprietor is friendly and gives tourist advice. It’s smack in the middle of the picturesque old town. superb value for money.
the hotel was in the middle of old town with parking right out front. there were several restaurants close and historical sites. the room was very comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The location was perfect for visiting Requena and the surrounding area. Los Canilleros is a beautifully decorated and equipped B&B made us feel like we were truly staying in a welcoming Spanish home.
The host was lovely; the accommodation was charming and beautifully restored. The town is quaint and quite. It was a great stopover after arriving late into Valencia and heading down south.
Very nice hotel with spacious room in a city centre. Great place to explore Requena, both the old town as well as the modern part of the city. I can recommend it.
