One of our rooms had a great view to the village and castle. Rooms were super spacious and well equipped. All the comfort expected from Paradores, although the building itself is not an old castle or monastery as with other Paradores. Lots of free parking (even with shadow). Short walking distance from the old village. Great staff and service. An easy sort drive to the Lake.

Lovely house in the centre of the old town of Puebla de Sanabria, a beautiful medieval little town in Old Castille. The location is excellent, just around the corner from all the monuments and amenities.
The house itself is very comfortable. Lovely old facade but modern and functional on the inside. Completely renovated.
Great base to explore Sanabria and surroundings. This is a not very well known part of Spain that it's really worth a visit. It's a gorgeous hilly country, full of old towns, lakes and rivers. Very close to Portugal for a day trip as well. And a great region for food.
All in all a great family experience.

A lovely little town perched above the river where people relax and swim in the summer. We stayed in the center with a great view just next to the castle. Plenty of good restaurants around so spoilt for choice..

Good location.
Good location. Nice building but poorly maintained and not very clean.
Beds comfortable. Bathroom acceptable. No allocated parking - this may be available on-street but may be a distance away. Breakfast definitely not worth having.

It was a holiday, so many places were closed. Including getting in to hotel. I had to call for code, which was fine. I get an immediate response. Never saw anyone that worked there, that was kind of interesting. Very cool old building. Would have liked to be there for the farmers market on Fridays.

Puebla de Sanabria is a beautiful, historic town.
Puebla de Sanabria is a beautiful, historic town. There are monumental buildings, alongside traditional houses. The river is a most attractive feature, with well tended gardens, where visitors can picnic or simply relax. It is difficult to find parking, especially on market days.

A beautiful old stone building in the old part of the town. Sympathetic conversion to a hotel. The rooms were a good size and well designed. Breakfast was good, the staff were friendly, and the no-contact check in process worked seamlessly.
Lovely hotel in the centre of the village close to bars and restaurants. Easy access to the historic centre. Reception was very friendly. Public parking just around the corner. Will stay here again thoroughly recommended.
It is a lovely traditional hotel in a delightful small town. It was close to everything including parking. The reception staff were very helpful. The breakfast was excellent.
