Food was excellent, view and facilities were great. The staff were extremely helpful, they made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The kitchen staff did a great job, quality of food was good (especially the Friday evening special) and they were so professional very well organized and quick. Couldn't fault them.

Playa Blanca is the newest, and arguably quietest, large resort on Lanzarote, which makes it popular with families. It is partially sheltered from the Atlantic winds by the dormant Montaña Roja volcano, and volcanic rock lines its sandy beaches which are spread around a bay.
There are 3 main beaches: Playa Dorada which is popular for watersports, Playa Blanca – the most peaceful, and Playa Flamingo which is overlooked by shops, bars and restaurants serving locally caught seafood. Further east the long stretches of sand give way to the rocky Papagayo Coves whose beautiful scenery is depicted on many a postcard.
A promenade linking the 3 beaches is lined with luxury hotels and resorts available on Booking.com, many offering all inclusive options and some even have their own water park. There are also lots of cheap apartments and private villas in Playa Blanca, some of which overlook Marina Rubicon. The Castillo de las Colorados watchtower sits on a rugged piece of headland looking across the Atlantic Ocean towards the hilly terrain of Fuerteventura.
Ferries to this neighbouring Canary Island depart from just across the bay and offer beautiful views back across the whitewashed buildings towards the mountains behind Playa Blanca.

Great place, long promenade along the coast.
Great place, long promenade along the coast. Montana Roja is a good walk/climb and great views. Good choice of restaurants in the main town. Bus to and from the airport (161) is cheap and frequent, takes about 1 hour. Bodega Colonial, pork cheek!!, Sergio Aubergine dish was lovely, great restaurants in PB central. Beaches are clean 😁

Beautiful town, very clean, locals very friendly and great with kids. Restaurants are fantastic and great choice, also very reasonably price and great quality in most. Alcohol is much cheaper too. There’s lots of beaches to choose which are all sandy and child friendly too as they are shallow and calm, apart from dorada beach which gets waves now and then from the bigger boats coming in. Most kids like that though as they find it fun. The marina is lovely and lots of restaurant’s but I personally preferred the restaurant’s on the front near the beaches as I found the food better and not as expensive.

Playa Blanca is a lovely place with great restaurants and beaches. Perfect for families as it's busy enough without being too crowded. We stayed just 10 minutes walk from Rubicon Marina where there are some lovely restaurants such as Lani's which has live music and is right on the water. If you want a table right at the waters edge at a specific restaurant, I'd suggest booking but if inside is your preference, then most take walk-ins depending on the time you head out for dinner.

We liked the marina area for eating out and walks.
We liked the marina area for eating out and walks. We ate at some good restaurants in various parts of Playa Blanca, we enjoyed the Casa Rosa and went there twice. Excellent fish and good service.
It was easy to walk all around the resort, we didn’t have a car but everything was nearby, good supermarkets, shops, restaurants.

We usually stay in purto del carmen , but we thought we would try somewhere different. Playa Blanca is lovely but a bit too quite for me
There are some lovely restaurants but the night life was too quite.
The hotel was very modern, clean and relaxing. I loved the idea of a family area and a relax zone which has 2 pools on each side, also an even younger kids pool.
The room was very spacious, was cleaned daily (or when needed) and included a mini fridge, safe and hairdryer.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Location was very good, only around a 10 minute walk to the main strip in Playa Blanca. Also a grocery shop only 3 minute walk away.
The hotel was sustainable which I love.
Nice, inviting, clean complex, pretty pool area. The location is a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of "downtown" and only a short walk away which can be viewed as an advantage (more space, less hectic) or a disadvantage (you have to walk to where all the restaurants are, etc.). Plenty of parking space along the road by the hotel so perfect place to stay if you have a rental car. Very friendly staff despite the check-in problems at the check-in kiosks (see below)
Kids pool was great although the beds around kids pool were less comfortable than main pool, no idea why, we felt that the hotel was punishing parents or something! Amazing views from the hotel and really easy to walk to Playa Blanca where they have loads of restaurants and bars and Playa Flamingo with a lovely beach (10-5mins stroll). No need to stick to the boring buffet in the hotel for all meals much better to get out and explore the other many restaurants available.
The studio is well located near the Playa Papagayo Natural Reserve and in a quiet part of Playa Blanca. You are in walking distance from Supermarkets and local cafes. The hosts are wonderful and going above and beyond to accommodate your needs. There were some issues during our stay which they smoothly took care of and we are very grateful to them for that. The outside area is nice but since we were there in the winter we spent little time on the terrace.
Amazing Apartment with nice kitchen. Everything we needed was there! Really simple interior and lots of space. The garden is breathtaking. Super location, near the beach and restaurants+bars. We also drove to station Las Coloradas and then went to Papagayo beach by foot.
Check in easy via Pin Code and keys.
Playa Blanca is really beautiful and we would absolutely recommend staying at Casa Real.
Thank you for everything!
A Warm welcome on arrival, rooms well equipped and very comfortable. The pool area very clean and well maintained - supervised by a very helpful lifeguard Anthony/Antonio. Great location for the Marina a short stroll away and 15-20 minute stroll along the front into playa blanca. Good free hotel Wi-Fi and pool towels.
We have been going to this hotel for a long time but this time there was big changes and I only found out that new owners had taking it over.
I was very disappointed in the way it was run.
Wont be going back there.
Very sad when it was a good hotel.
Charlie,
The hotel was very clean and the facilities were fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely for breakfast, lunch and dinner and there was a great selection of foods. Brilliant activities for both adults and children all day.
Was great location for us was quiet but not to far from everything. Only 10mins walk into playa blanca. Plenty of parking roundabout hotel. Lovely views from balcony. Nice restaurants nearby and supermarkets. All-round a great location and hotel.
Fab new hotel since last we were in playa blanca. Friendly staff, well designed and set out with 9 pools including slides, family club and adults only. Privilege club lounge, spa and several bars, restaurants, and games room.
Very large outdoor area with a pool overlooking playa blanca. Very quiet and relaxing perfect for couples. Would recommend a hire car to get the most out of staying in the villa ie. to access the marina easily.
The staff were amazing, the location was perfect and the pool and facilities were amazing. Hotel entertainment and bar were exactly what was needed and the breakfast (all we paid for) was substantial.
Excellent location! Hotel was spotless and pool area too. Staff were great, very welcoming and informative about local restaurant recommendations which were fab! We will definitely return🥰
Lovely hotel great location beside some lovely restaurants and then a nice 20 min stroll into main area of Playa Blanca. Would definitely return and highly recommend .
