Charming hotel right on the seafront. Nice continental breakfast every day listening to the sea. The pool was small but warm and fine for our 4year old and we had it to ourselves most days. Staff were really friendly and when we did have lunch/dinner here it was excellent too. Right outside are some Roman ruins as well and the town is only a 10min walk.

I have had a property near to Platja D'aro for over 20 years and make regular visits always taking in Platja D'aro on a few occasions as it has a great choice of restaurants. It has a great water park for kids although it is a little expensive. If you are inclined to visit a little further afield there are many great beaches and small coves and restaurants that make the Costa Brava so exceptional but you do need a car. Taxis are expensive and public transport is almost non-existent

Loved the area, town was buzzing with lots of shops and restaurants and funfair. Very busy at the weekend, hard to a table in a restaurant without queuing.
Not very English oriented, not many English speaking people so be prepared to try to learn a bit of Spanish. Beach at Playa d'aro was coarse but with lots of water sports and restaurants on the promenade. Coast was gorgeous with lots of walks and coves to discover. Easy walk to S'agaro with nice small town and gorgeous sandy beach, lots of water sports.

Great restaurants with lots of choice, Mexican, Italian etc.
Great restaurants with lots of choice, Mexican, Italian etc. The steaks were great.
In the Argentinian Steak House. Nice clothes shops. Also shops with normal sea side stuff. The road with shops etc is set back one line from main beach. There is a long main beach and also the small pretty cove we stayed in.

Sea swimming not suitable for small children as water level deepens very quickly.

Very well cared-for and clean beaches.
Very well cared-for and clean beaches. Small stones are strangely massaging for the feet. Water is warm (in August). Big drop-off in depth from the edge of the beach, so swimming right away. Jazz festival on the beach on Friday evenings in summer.
Nice hotel, affordable price, friendly staff. Free parking available on the street. Within a short walking distance from the center/beach. Comfy beds, mini fridge, but no tea/coffee maker. Bathroom has a floor-to-ceiling double window to the bedroom, which has an almost-closed enclosed blinder that you cannot reach, quite a strange design - you can almost see through into the bathroom shower from the bedroom.
This is our second time staying at these apartments in Costa Brava. The apartments feel new, are very clean and well appointed. The views and outdoor spaces are spectacular. There is paddle tennis next door, which is a fun thing to do with the family. It's an easy walk to the beach. Plenty of restaurants are open in Platja D'Aro in the off season.
The hotel is ok. It's quite old-fashioned without any fancy tech, like access key cards. The location is fantastic though - right on the beach and in the middle of the town. The staff was very welcoming and polite. The hotel has a paid covered parking, which was super useful. Overall, the hotel stay was quite a pleasant experience.
Hip, trendy hotel with big windows so a lot of daylight.
Breakfast and dinner buffet was very good. Rooms were light and modern, we had a refurbished lateral sea view room. The “bathroom” was a bit tidy with only toilet and shower while the washing bassin was in the bedroom, we thought this was not so comfortable privacy wise.
Thank you Hotel Spa La Terrassa team, it was a great stay. Breakfast had many options including smoked salmon and Cava, very friendly waitress with a braide. Our room had problem with a shower, there was no hot water, so reception team Pau and russian speaker receptionist gave us an upgrade.
Super location! Personal ist extrem friendly and helpful! Breakfast really good for 2 stars hotel! We had a room in the third floor with a generous terrace… And last but not least…Bed was very good, we slept absolutely good! Sooo…Hotel Boulevard…till next year!
This hotel is in a perfect location for quick access to the beach, and the main street. The staff were exceptional, especially "MacGyver"! The breakfast, which is optional, had a large variety of choices and was perfect for starting the day!
Excellent room with comfortable bed and great view. Good breakfast but could be varied a little.
Spacious hotel with excellent bar area and reasonable prices for a hotel. Very enjoyable meal in the restaurant.
very nice place, the beach by the hotel is clean and beautiful, so are the views. we got an upgrade to the suite by the hotel, thank you so much it was a lovely stay. we will sure to be back again.
The hotel was clean, well ordered and very good value for money. My room was spacious well equipped and had its own balcony. All of the staff I dealt with were friendly and I enjoyed my stay.
the spa was lovely and it’s on a beautiful bit of the Costa brava coast (on the Cami de Ronda). breakfast was great and staff were amazing. Room was well presented and hotel grounds lovely.
From the room to the whole boutique hotel, to the location, the food was amazing, everyone was so nice. The spa was the best spot I’ve ever been to, I wish I never had to leave.
