The hotel was very tastefully decorated and the receptionist were very friendly and helpful. The photographs of the hotel on booking.com do not do justice to the place. The host is very accomodating. We left a diamond ring in the apartment but the host notified us immidiately and we got it back. Super happy with the whole experience.
Very comfortable and super clean! The couch was made as a bed for our daughter. Yummy muffins and coffee for breakfast. Huge terrace! Nice assortment of brochures/ local information and recommendations. Very residential area, enjoyed dining out with locals rather than tourists. Can walk downtown and to Camino de Santiago.

It's a nice town with slightly different vibe to the others on the Camino, quite chilled and relaxed. Probably a good place for a rest day as the trails beforehand leave you quite dirty (in poor weather). Probably lots of history here also but didn't get time to explore. I ate at the Camino Portuguese which is a cafe bar/diner. There was fine dining in the town but that doesn always sit well with hiking the next day. Easy to get around on foot, better with a bike.

Padron is a small and charming town with real character.
Padron is a small and charming town with real character. The tree lined strip by the river is gorgeous, there are beautiful old churches and best of all, a decent selection of very very good restaurants. I stayed as part of the Camino and it was one of my favourite stops. There is a really nice buzz yet relaxed feel to the place.

My husband adult son and myself were walking the Portuguese Camino. This apartment was beautiful. Ultra modern and spotlessly clean. It was right on the Camino. Communication via what’s app with Ivan was excellent. Tea/ coffee and sweet treats were provided. Also a welcome litre of milk in the fridge. Beds were extremely comfortable. It was fantastic value. I would absolutely recommend this apartment in Padron. A touch of luxury for the tired pilgrim.
