The hotel is a 10 minute walk from restaurants and shops and 20 minute walk to historic sites. We enjoyed walking around this picturesque white village. The hotel is right next to the beautiful Via Verde bicycle / walking path. There is a cafe at the hotel but it has limited hours, especially during the winter months.
Hostal Medina is located in Olvera, within the natural setting of the Sierra de Cádiz Mountains. The bus station and the Via Verde de la Sierra Route are a few yards away.

We liked exploring the historic castle and wandering the small streets. Watching the sunset over the stone buildings was picturesque. We would highly recommend bicycling or walking the tree lined, Via Verde outside Olvera. You are away from busy roads and pass through many tunnels.

Beautiful city, with stunning views.
Beautiful city, with stunning views. Long walk up to the top, all streets are steep, not for people with mobility problems. People very friendly. Air beautiful and clear due to its height. Plenty of places to eat.

I have visited Olvera often, both to meet friends and to explore the area. One of Andalucia 'Pueblos Blancos' it is a beautiful town set on a steep hill with the main church and castle at the very top. Blessed with magnicicent views it is a great place to visit with your camera.
Olvera is also located within easy day trip distances to many other great places to visit, including Rinda, Setenil, Algodonales, Zahara, and many, many more.

Olvera is the perfect Pueblo Blanco.
Olvera is the perfect Pueblo Blanco. It has everything and the locals are helpful and friendly, Beautiful old buildings, a huge church and a castle and museum at the top of the hill. The views are out of this world. Local restaurants serve great local dishes and at great value for money. You will love Olvera.
A lovely place to stay in a stunning town. We loved Olvera, which is beautiful, full of history and has some great bars and restaurants. The castle is well worth the effort of climbing up to it, as it has fantastic views and the museum attached to the Tourist Information Office is fascinating. Having The Olive Tree B&B as our base was a bonus. A lovely room, with a great roof terrace, a very good breakfast included, and very friendly hosts. Highly recommended.
The house is in a fantastic location next to the cathedral and a couple of minutes walk to a fantastic tapas bar where you can watch the sunset. The house is extremely comfortable and beautifuly decorated. The house was perfectly clean and the kitchen well equipped. Upstairs is extremely comfortable - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms - and the aircon worked very well in both bedrooms. Would love to stay again when I'm next in Olvera! Thank you.
Amazing location, great swimming pool, very good restaurant - excellent food, lovely personnel. Hotel breakfast has a good price and great coffee. Lunch was also superb (croquetas, ensaladas, gambas - all fresh and tasty). The waitress is probably the nicest person in the world :-). Bike rental open 9 am - 5 pm. Via Verde spectacular. Olvera itself is a charming town as well, with stunning panoramic views from the castle/church.
An old school hotel but very well maintained with helpful and friendly staff and a very welcoming atmosphere. The pool was huge. There's was quite a lot of choice for breakfast and the prices we're decent. We also asked for laundry service which was quick and very fairly priced. The room itself was clean, roomy and comfortable. The hotel has free public parking and is a 15-20 minute walk from the historic tower in Olvera.
Amazing bed and breakfast with the kindest hosts who went to great lengths to ensure a wonderful stay. The room was perfect, very clean and very spacious. The breakfast was delicious. The location in the heart of the town is fantastic. All and all, a wonderful stay. Do yourself a favor and visit Olvera—and stay at this bed and breakfast. You won’t regret it.
Cosy place in Olvera that is perfect if you are visiting the place. Close to the Castillo de Olvera and all the places you need to see. Susanne was very welcoming, the breakfast was excellent and you could just enjoy the atmosfere the place is offering. There is a shared place for resting and enjoying the view of the city. I would recommend it for sure!
The property was extremely well presented and seemed newly renovated. The welcome bottle of wine and bowl of fruit was terrific. the apartment was comfortable and spacious. From Olvera we were able to explore the surrounding area. As we have been travelling for sometime we also enjoyed a rest day in a very comfortable house.

Olvera is a beautiful village, and Olive Tree is located in a picturesque location with lovely views. Extremely comfortable room’s equipped to the highest standards and warm, engaging hosts. Truly could not ask for more in a B&B.
We loved the terrace and the view of the surrounding countryside. The apartment was light and airy and nicely furnished. Olvera is a lovely little town to explore and really well-located for visiting Ronda (c. 45 minutes drive)
Colin has really thought everything through here, it’s a lovely property with a very welcoming host! Incredible value for money. Would definitely stay again if visiting Olvera. Perfect location and a stunning house
The apartment is very big with a living room and a bedroom. Clean, cozy, comfortable. The terrace is a bonus. We enjoyed the gorgeous view of the Olvera and the starry starry night. Thanks!!!
I thought this was a great hotel for a pretty decent price. The restaurant is really good, and it's in a great location. Staff is very friendly and professional.
