Located on a corner plot just behind one of the main streets in Olvera and in the heart of the charming old town, this property is ideally situated to explore the old winding, cobbled streets beneath the church. Its quirky layout makes it a uniquely characterful place to stay and with its large private terrace looking out over the hilly olive groves it's also the perfect place to unwind. Decorated and cleaned to a high standard it offers a touch of style and a more than comfortable, memorable stay. Please note that as there are some steep stairs in the property it may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues, or for very young children. The second double bed is on a mezzanine and therefore it is not fully private, but for families this should not be an issue.

At the bottom of the street you pass through an arch reminiscent of the town's Moorish past, into the lovely Plaza de Andalusia, with the cooling sound of the fountain on a hot day, a play area for small children and the public park leading up to the aviary (listen out for the peacocks!) as well as the statue of Jesus which stands guard over the town. There are far-reaching views from the top of this rocky outcrop, not to be missed. In any direction from Casa de Esteban there are shops and restaurants. At the top of the hill is the town hall square where the Ayuntamiento looks out over the cafe in the corner, and all is dominated by the magnificent Church of Nuestra Senora de le Encarnacion and the medieval Moorish castle. The Tourist Information Centre is also just a stroll away and the beautiful public cemetary. The views from up on the highest part of town are breathtaking. At the same time the facilities in the lower town are also within walking distance of Casa de Esteban - the public swimming pool, bus station and road leading down to the Via Verde can easily be reached on foot, not to mention the best cake shop in town - Pasteleria La Gloria.
