This is a 3 star property and as such it covers the basics really well. Quiet and effective air conditioning unit. The bed was comfy. The bathroom small but contained everything I needed. Balcony. Located right on beach. Sea view. Quiet neighbourhood. Good restaurant/bar. All in all I thought it was very good.

It was in a beautiful location overlooking the sea and the port with breakfast served in the rooftop restaurant. The room was beautiful and also very quiet. The hotel is located at the lower end of the Main Street near the promenade so everything was nearby. Breakfast was fab with fresh fruit & lovely selection of breads, cold meats & cheese etc. The staff were very pleasant and good humoured.

My husband’s very elderly mother lives here so we visit twice yearly. I’m not sure I’d recommend it as a holiday destination if you don’t have friends/family here. The landscaped gardens are beautifully tended and lots of immaculate outdoor pools. But any other facilities are a distance away and you absolutely need a car. There are a couple of restaurants nearby - one actually on the estate - but be aware that everything is shut in January!
