It’s a beautifully converted old building on the banks of the Ebro, with a nice 40 min walk along the river into Haro. The room was perfectly comfortable but on the 3rd floor in the eaves so felt more like a ski chalet room , with sloping roof and velum windows in the roof ( no view whatsoever) - although to be fair we took the last available room so our choice was limited . A lovely terrace overlooking the river. Dinner was good and reasonably priced - as long as the restaurant wasn’t full when the service became erratic.

This is a really good budget hotel, perfect if you are passing through. The location isn't the most scenic, being as the hotel shares it's exterior with a BP garage and the whole area is quite industrial with more garages and lorries parked up. This doesn't matter if your travelling coast to coast and just want a decent stopover. The hotel is clean and modern. The rooms are spacious with tv,, wi-fi and a shower bath combo. The hotel has a restaurant/cafeteria/bar combo which means you don't have to go out and search for something to eat, It also has a small shop, And I was able to park right outside, despite their website saying they didn't have any parking.

An interesting town with a lot of history.
An interesting town with a lot of history. It was clearly an important centre in the past.
The old town with its botanical gardens, castle walls and architecture is well worth a visit. Whilst across the old bridge Puente Carlos III there are loads of interesting bars, eateries and places to see.
Unfortunately, we were on a tight schedule and didn't have enough time to fully explore the town. However, we've saved this as a place to visit the next time that we are in the region and hope to spend a full day or two here

We were put in a room overlooking the river it was perfect. We had sun all day and watched the sun go down. It had everything you need.
We went into town in evening, we had drinks and tapas it was very pleasant. Families were all coming out to meet up with friends and neighbours, we sat in a lovely park just on the edge of the town.

A nice town with plenty of shops in the town and larger supermarkets on the out edge. Plenty of food establishments around town, always busy town in morning and late afternoon and evening, good train spotting area as large yard. Lovely river Ebro to watch Kayakers. So many petrol stations all with different prices but Supermarkets are cheaper.

We arrived quite late at night and were helped very well by the female receptionist with the check in and also with the parking which required a bit of assistance. The hotel was above expectations, if I was not just passing by the city I would definitely stay more nights. It was above my expectations for such a hotel and for such a price.
Great hotel, just outside the motorway, the room was spacious even with 3 beds in it. The air-con worked wonderfully. The restaurant had a great 3-course set menu for £15 per person which even included a bottle of wine. They were great with my toddler, even brought him painting stuff to entertain him.
