in every respect, this is a magnificent place to stay. The Palacio is beautifully decorated by the delightful owners who work very hard to make sure your stay is perfect. Our bedroom was large with a spacious bathroom and very comfortable bed. There is a large wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. A lovely breakfast is provided in the dining room or out in the garden. Gloria recommended a Sunday lunch at Arrate in a mountain village. This was the highlight of our trip to Northern Spain. if you get the chance to stay at Palacio de Luko don’t hesitate! it’s superb.

The host was very welcoming, and went out of his way to make us feel at home in the new city. He provided excellent advice on local amenities, shops, restaurants and parking. He was very flexible with meeting us for the key handover when our flight was delayed and we experienced other travel delays.
For the purpose of my trip, I wanted complete control over my food consumption. So, having a fully appointed kitchen was perfect, and with local supermarkets just over the road we were able to prepare our meals exactly how and when we wanted.
