Clean, spacious, Private, safe location,fully equipped and Modern. The pool towels were a added bonus along with toiletries. No pool heater but water temperature got to 30oc each day during our stay. WiFi and garden furniture were all good.
Beds were all comfortable as they had memory foam. Plenty of hot water and would most defiantly like to visit again

Quiet relaxing place to recharge and use as a base for exploring the island. there are some authentic Spanish restaurant's and some great cafes. There isnt a night life kind of place but somewhere to enjoy your days and relax. You need a car here, its easy to get around and plenty of supermarkets. The beaches are unspoilt, no sunbeds but there are alot of nudists about. No shops near the beaches so take a picnic. Definitely visit the b.e.a.c.h shop on the high street for some great home pieces

Lajares itself doesn’t have a lot to offer. Need to use the car all the time. It is better to stay in El Cotillo. Unless you want to be close to the specific beaches. I would not recommend more than 2-3 days there.
If in the area go to “Panaceta”, great bakery in Lajares.

The people here are very kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you see lots of surfers. After a surfing trip, Lajares is the perfect location to get some really good food. Don't worry if you are not a surfer. You can run, hike and bike here, too. You can also take a hike and visit a nearby volcano. In total, this is the perfect spot if you want to visit Fuerteventura. You have lots of houses to choose from and Corralejo is only a 15min ride away. El Cotillo, a surfer's paradise, is also just 15min away.

Beautiful town with some really good restaurants and coffee shops. La Boqueria was a particular favourite. Great tapas and Iberian pork. La Canela was nice for a drink, good music and gets busy when there's live music.

Because Lajares is not on the coast, it did not feel as “touristy” as the coastal villages and towns. However there are still plenty of places to eat (although you have to note the inevitable ‘one night a week closed’ for each restaurant and plan accordingly,) Good bakeries, a handy supermarket, everything within walking distance. Many lovely walks can be started from Lajares. La Bodega restaurant is a cut above the rest. If you did not have a car, bus service Correlejo to El Cotillo is very frequent. There is only one bicycle hire shop but sadly they do not have many bikes (that was our only disappointment)
We had a great week in the villa. Everything was perfect in the house. We particularly enjoyed all the outside space. Front and back garden plus rooftop terrace let you enjoy the sun all day long. The house itself has everything you need for a nice stay. It's very quiet at night and the comfortable bed let you enjoy a good night sleep. Check in and check out were really easy. Julianne and her husband provided lots of valuable information about the area and tye house. Would definitely recommend staying here.
I had such an amazing stay in Creative Harbour. Everything was perfect, both the people and the energy. I felt at home from the first moment.
There is a large coworking area outside in front of the pool and big shared spaces where you can hang out with other guests. Strongly recommended for solo travelers! Alessandro is such an amazing guy, super chill and helpful.

Awesome hostel for those looking for a quiet, familiar place. The hostel is located in Lajares, close to surf spots in the north of the island and just at short drive to El Cotillo. Cesar and Lisoette are amazing hosts. The hostel is super clean and well maintained. The outside area is beautiful, with a swimming pool and barbecue area with an astonishing view to a volcano. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to rest and enjoy the nature of the island.
Beautiful apartment in lovely Lajares. Clean and well equipoed. Small pool with sun beds in a sheltered, sunny spot. Wine, tea, coffee, cola and chocolates on arrival. Felt very welcoming. Well placed for several walks in the area such as the Calderon Hondo trail, El Cotillo and La Olvera. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.I was able to arrange a late checkout as we were waiting for a bus to Puerto del Rosario. Really couldn't fault anything.
We like how quite the villas are! Beds were super comfy too! Be careful with the shower tap, it gets super super hot out little one got his leg burnt and has a big blister the day after…Villas are a bit far away but with car is not a problem at all, lajares is such a beautiful area… Kids enjoyed the pools and the slides were so much fun! Staff were super nice, special mention to Dacil! She was very helpful and kind. Thank you for having us
The villa was in an attractive part of the village, on the way out to the volcano. It was not overlooked. The garden was lovely and the view from the table and pool even more so. It was well equipped and everything worked - the downstairs shower was excellent. The wi-fi was good too, though we had to phone Nerea to obtain the password. The supermarket in Lajares was better than expected; the restaurants in El Cotillo were plentiful.
Luna Studio is located in a very quiet area of Lajares, which is about 5 minutes' walk to the main street. It has everything you need for living in this apartment and the view from the balcony is spectacular. It is very intimid and it is a good alternative to those touristic resorts. If you come to surf in Fuerteventura, this is definitely the right place for you to stay. The host Francesca was very helpful during my stay.
We chose Aqua Guest House when exploring north part of the island. It is located just few steps from the volcano, few km from the beaches and cities like El Cotillo and Corralejo. The apartment has everything that you need during your stay in Fuerteventura. There are places to eat next door and you can easily walk to the Lajares town. We really enjoyed it there.Thank you. :)
The facilities are inviting and pleasing. My room was nicely furnished and renovated, including a small patio. Breakfast was a treat: homemade items, both healthy and various.The location is just a short drive between the main town/port and the nicest coastal town. It was a small, almost rural village. Plenty of parking.
Peaceful location, great layout, immaculate and clean. loved it and will definitely return. We loved how remote it was but you do need a car. 5 mins to supermarket, 10 mins to Cotillo beach, no sunbeds there just unspoilt beach. 10 mins to correlejo. Fantastic location in Lajares, nestled between El Cotillo, Majanicho, and Corralejo, surrounded by numerous restaurants and cafes. The rooftop terrace is breathtaking, providing a perfect vantage point for captivating sunrises and sunsets.
Everything was perfect, you can also take benefit of the nearby hotel and its services. Eg. our kids loved the miniclub. Gabriela was a great host, she gave us lots of information, a welcome gift, also the communication was perfect!
