Good service - when I enquired for hot water, was served in a kettle with two tea cups and teaspoon. When I enquired for tissue paper, was given a small pocket packet of tissue paper and apology that i’d have to go to the town supermarket to buy a box if needed. Room and toilet were all very clean. Good scenery facing garden. Towels were clean and provided.

The location was incredible! We loved the view and the outdoor terrace. It was about 15-20 minutes from Potes, so easy to access restaurants and shops. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Our host was really nice and when she met us with the keys she was kind enough to give us local restaurant recommendations.

A lovely little apartment in Espinama, just off the main road. Check-in was in the Hotel (blue building) and parking provided down the narrow lane and around the back of the red building/apartments. Lovely and quiet. A few options for eating out. But such a wonderful location. Espinama and most particularly the Picos de Europa - one of the most beautiful places I've seen in Spain. And Spain is obviously abundant with amazing places! :-)

No Restaurant for dinner, but a nice breakfast for 5 euro is offered in the dinning room, Room is basic, but beds are comfortable, with everything needed, it's a quint Hotel/Hostel with bags of character, beautiful old building, location is 4 miles from Potes, and there are 2 bar/restaurants within a mile.

First time visit to Picos de Europa - which we knew for a long time - give us a very pleasant encounter with a thru mountain type of landscape and scenery. It is very accessible, thanks to its heights and (obviously) with the cable car lifting you to 1800m in a few minutes :-). Though, the weather wasn't that good when we were there - end of april 2024 - with some light snow and quite foggy. You should prepare and dress accordingly, it's still a mountain environment - and be ready to change your plans. Staying at the Parador de Fuente Dé is a good place to start discovering the Picos de Europa.

This hamlet is about 90 mins from the autoroute up some quite challenging but superb mountainous roads. Beware the 3 or 4 roadworks. The hotel is located right next to the cable car which takes just a few minutes' vertiginous ride to the 1800 metre summit. The weather was good and there was no wind. A busy restaurant and hotel at the top. Great views too. A good stop for hikers, bikers and off-roaders; none of which apply to me.
+ Lovely hotel in a picturesque location away from people, right next to the Fuente De cable lift. Oh, that views from the window!
+ The interior is very cozy and authentic with lots of details. There is a fireplace in the lobby for evening gatherings with wine next to the fire.
+ The staff is very attentive, always nearby.
