Room and facilities lovely in this very old family homestead. Beautiful rural location. Could chat with other guests in bar and amazing dinner and breakfast.

A new independent house with a good quality building and finishing. The property has 4 bed rooms, well equipped kitchen, laundry and garage. So in fact it fits to accomodate a big extended family of up to 10 persons! Jose, the owner/manager is very friendly, reactive and helpful even if we communicate through WhatsAp only. He started giving us the guidance even weeks before we arrived in Portomarin. Will stay again there next time but surely with more member of our family (We felt sorry that such a big house is only occupied by 3 of us while the other Camino pilgrims had difficulty to find a lodge on that day of 01 May - Labour Day - where most hotels are fully booked). It is located right along the camino. It provides a good stay after the climb up the hill earlier in the day. The staff is nice. The bed is clean and comfortable. Cafe is located in ten-minute walk or you can have meal delivered. If one tries to avoid the crowd at the usual stage stop, that's the place for you!

This apartment was lovely and easy to find from the Camino de Santiago. It was convenient to a grocery store and to restaurants serving "pilgrim meals." It was just steps away from the Portomarin city sign. The space itself was beautiful--clean and spacious so we had room to spread out. After a long day walking on the Camino, we appreciated the large bathroom, the fridge for our breakfast foods, the access to the garden, and the comfy beds. If I ever return to Portomarin, I would definitely stay here again.
