We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Jucamar in Cangas at the end of July, staying in a quadruple room. The amenities were excellent, providing everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. The fabulous buffet breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of sweet and savory options that catered to all tastes.
Cleanliness was impeccable, with our room having been refurbished in all aspects bar the bathroom. The staff at reception were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. This was our second visit after six years, and it was just as good as we remembered. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delightful stay in Cangas!

The owner of the property waited for us even after the opening hours. It's good to mention when you come so she can wait for you. Very easy to find, close to the beach, close to the harbor to go to Vigo etc., Tranquil area so you can sleep with no problems. The best part for me was the shower as it is modernly arranged. Would stay the next time longer. Thank you for having us.

It is a great destination to just be out of the noise of the big cities, it is a small town actually with friendly local people and you can enjoy local food and mostly if you love sea food it would be a good choice.

Cangas is a very friendly place with lots of taperias, bars and restaurants.
It has a great beach with lots of opportunities for watersports.

Cangas is an adorable town across the bay from Vigo.
Cangas is an adorable town across the bay from Vigo. A fun thing to do is to take the ferry over to Vigo or to spend the day at Islas Cíes. Cangas is surrounded by hills and has access to many small beaches. You can hike or run in the eucalyptus forests on the hills and find different little beaches around the bay, Cangas has loads of restaurants and bars but is not too good for vegans. Most restaurants do not have many veggie dishes other than salad and pimientos de padrón (green peppers). We found 2 restaurants that had some vegan dishes.

It was the second time we were in this Hotel which has a very good localization and a very warm staff helping us since the begging to have a late check in (due an unplanned reason), supporting us to have a breakfast in a day we loose the time etc. The hotel can be modernized, however this does not mean it loose in cleaning and confort! The room had air conditioner, confortable beds, pretty cleaned room, bathrooms, linen, towels etc. I really recommend Jucamar.
Nice location, better to stay here than in Vigo where I had meetings. i loved walks around the beach in the evening with small friendly restaurants all around. And if you love pastry for breakfast, you have take only this hotel.
