location is superb, this experience is not to be missed - the grand house in a tiny village in an enormous vineyard. the church has an amazing altar piece dating back to 1550, and referencing Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights. the walks are fun, and lots to see.

Lovely quaint town that instantly brought a sense of calmness, we couldn’t help but feel relaxed.
The cafes and restaurants all had a great selection of pinxtos and we had a fantastic dinner in Asador los Nietos on one evening.
Briones is a good place to base yourself to tour the wineries but there are also plenty of bodegas in the town, we happened to arrive when a festival was taking place and visited 5 bodegas each with their own tasting seminar. There was live music in the square that evening also and a great buzz about the place. The locals were all friendly and welcoming despite our Spanish not being very good!

Everything from start to finish exceeded expectations. We stayed here for 3 nights for my 40th birthday and everyone made it so memorable. The hotel was just amazing, the staff couldn’t do too much for us and the food was unbelievably good.
