Very clean apartment with great facilities, in a quiet street in the old town. Close to the main plaza. Everything about it was great. We were even able to make ourselves an espresso before we headed off.
Communication with host was also very good.

Easy communication to get the keys, they were very friendly, they gave me clear instructions.
The was cereal and little muffins that we had for breakfast.
We loved this apartment, it's beautiful, the whole decoration is like a piece of art.
We were only 2 and we had 2 bed rooms and 2 bathrooms (this was the best value for money I could find when I did my search).
It was nice to go for a walk in the evening. There was netflix on the TV which I used with my account.

Beautiful old city with great architecture and lively nightlife. The Camino Inglés winds through the city, making it especially convenient for those walking that pilgrimage route to Santiago. We happened to be there during tortilla celebration week, and the Betanzos tortillas are a speciality. Best hint - find the small cafe/bars located through the “arches” in narrow streets just off the main plaza.
Really enjoyed it here, we arrived in Betanzos and Antonio came and picked us up within 5 mins of sending a whattsap message, they helped us book our accomodation for the next part of our journey. The town is about 3km away so he took us when we went out at night and also brought us back free of charge. Super friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were perfect for me and my husband, there is even a popcorn machine, would definitely recommend if you are doing the pilgrimage
This is a wonderful little apartment that is centrally located in Betanzos. It's just a few minutes to walk to the town plaza, grocery store, etc. and the kitchen was well-stocked with what we needed to make dinner after a long day walking on the Camino Ingles. Isabel was a delight to deal with, and helped us with directions and logistics for our stay. The place was immaculate, and the perfect place to relax and we even ran a load of laundry!
The central location was ideal. Very close to the Camino Ingles route. Betanzos as a town has a lovely atmosphere. Would happily spend more time here and rebook Mirador de la Muralla. Isabel was very helpful and available and responded quickly to messages. All the things you might want are there, for example, washing machine, drying rack, toaster, kettle etc. Great shower, toiletries. Large space with balcony. Comfortable bed. Nice views.
The hosts Antonio and Maria went out of their way to make our Camino Ingles stop over in Betanzos a great experience. We were fetched in the centre of town, and taken to the start of the walk again the next morning. On our second day we walked to Presedo, where Antonio fetched us after lunch. He took us back to Presedo the following day, to continue our walk from there. All the extra driving, at no extra cost - a true Camino host!!
A very comfortable apartment in the Camino Inglés. Isabel and Teresa were very helpful and friendly. Extremely clean and well stocked. The two complimentary bottles of water were very appreciated. Quiet area but very close to Betanzos plaza Dos hermanos and several places to eat. Washing machine was huge asset. The bed was big and comfortable.
Hotel Garelos was perfectly located, just off the main square in Betanzos, offering an ideal place of rest for me while on the Camino to Santiago. Adrianna was very welcoming on reception when I arrived, with helpful advice on restaurants and bars. The room was of a very high standard, and I slept very well. The breakfast was enormous too!
Great location in Betanzos, easy to find and very central to the Camino Inglés. Comfortable beds, very clean. Jesus was very welcoming, and they had both an elevator and air conditioning! Also, we had a delicious dinner at the restaurant downstairs. All in all, a great stay after a long Camino stage. We would definitely stay there again!
The young woman at the front desk, Laura, went out of her way to help me. She was very kind and I was really touched by the assistance she gave me. The hotel was in a good location, and the breakfast was very nice as well and was included. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay in Betanzos!
Lovely comfortable apartment right along the Camino Ingles & and only a few minutes walk to the heart of Betanzos. Easy communication to arrange checkin & our host also had suggestions for places to eat during our 1-night stay. The little cakes for breakfast were a nice touch.
Whilst just under 3km from the centre of Betanzos the guest house was wonderful. Clean, comfortable - the bed was fantastic especially after a long day of hiking on the Camino. Maria collected me from the centre of Betanzos which was fantastic and much appreciated!
Great location. Betanzos is all hills so there’s no avoiding them. This property was easy to find, and easy to navigate from. As a pilgrim, and after walking for hours, I wanted easy.
Our room was cancelled due to roof issues. We did not stay there but were transferred to another site at the hotel’s expense. Those accommodations were fine but not in the town.
Friendly staff with a very warm reception. Above average breakfast. For what we paid in similar hotels this week... this was a bargain! A cute hotel in a lovely city.
