Location peaceful and some good walks locally, especially to view the enormous goat herd about 2 kms away. The route to get there is as follows: Turn right out of the entrance of the accommodation. Go straight ahead along a narrow road which has little traffic. Continue past the cemetery on your left. You will pass a few houses along the way. As you rise upwards towards the hillsides you will see huge quantities of goats. These goats are a special breed (Majorero) native to this island and used to make the famous cheese of the area. It was a lovely surprise to us to see this grand spectacle and it wasn't until the following day when we visited the cheese museum in Antigua that we learnt about this breed. We went to Antigua by bus which we caught about 10 minutes walking from the accommodation. In fact the bus service is cheap and luckily Tuineje is on the main bus route between Puerto de Rosario and Morro Jable and frequency is good. Contrary to conventional wisdom car hire is not imperative on Fuerteventura as the bus service network is extensive.
The owners of the accommodation live nearby and it's worth communicating by WhatsApp or phone. They were willing to help and we used the translater on our smartphones when we met them. Facilities are modern and the rooms nicely decorated. The outside area is gated so everything is secure. There are outdoor table and chairs, sun loungers and a rural view. The small grocery shop is within walking distance and caters for your food and drinks during your stay.
We thank the owners for a most memorable stay in the Fuerteventura interior and good luck for the future.

The house was fantastic, everything was perfect. We will definitely recommend your accommodation as the best one on holiday in Fuerteventura. The apartment had all the accessories we needed. Even helping on Christmas Eve was no problem. The house is located in the middle of the island, so reaching both ends is not a big feat
