I struggled a little bit to find the entrance of the place but found it. The place is amazing, as described in the photos if not better. The quality of the blankets for premium. The bathrooms were very clean and modern. I spent one night along my Camino de Santiago, I would love to go back some day and spend a couple of days. I loved having breakfast outside, facing the water, a beautiful of our 7 hour walk that day. It was great not having to do an in-person check in and not waiting for anyone to give us keys, everything is done electronically and keys are kept in a little box with a code

Fantastic old mill that had been converted into a house, a really unique property. I happened to tell Maria that we were walking the Camino and she kindly offered to pick us up and take us to the house.

Garelos is set in the centre of Betanzos, and is ideal for those wanting to explore this small city. It has free Wi-Fi. The rooms are all spacious and have wooden floors.

Everything. What an amazing hotel our room with 2 large beds was like a suite and spotlessly clean with all you could ask for including coffee machine which are not in all hotels. We loved this place and would happily come again.

We were walking the Camino Ingles and with no accommodation available in Betanzos we walked on to Cos, Church of St Estevo (Estaban). From there, Maria arranged a taxi (at no additional cost) to the beautiful Rectoral de Cines which is a few clicks off the track. We stayed 2 nights in this amazing 1000year old monastery, with gardens and courtyard, converted into a hotel with adjoining church. In addition to the scenery, the fabulous decor and artworks; Maria, Jessica and Juan were wonderfully welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. When ready to resume our walk, a taxi was called to drop us back to the church at Cos for us to resume the Camino. I'd highly recommend a stay here. Great value ...oh and I almost forgot, good food at night and at breakfast. No lunch service provided.
