This hotel is my private paradise getaway from Cairo. I love everything about it, from the staff, to the exquisite beaches, to the incredible sea views from each of its balconies. The rooms are impeccably clean and everything works. No wifi in the rooms, but hey, who would come all the way to Marsa Matruh to scroll ?
I almost feel guilty raving about this place because even though Egyptians know about it and have been coming for decades, there are relatively few foreign tourists. This has allowed Marsa Matruh to retain its unique cultural authenticity, with its delightful Bedouin hospitality and scrupulously honest people. I hope it won't be invaded soon by too many foreign tourists. Avoid Beau Site in July and August. The best months are May, early June, September and October.

The staff was very warm and welcoming. Reception is top tier. Breakfast was great, fresh and filling. So many options and very tasty.
Lady in the cafe made the best fresh strawberry juice. She was so sweet.
Although I didn’t have a room with a view through booking.com the beach was clean and the ocean is beautiful. Good value for the money. Recommend for a short stay passing through.

Avoid in summer. Best beaches ever, but try in September end, as in summer it gets super crowded, annoying and not enjoyable at all. City needs lot of development and investors to build nice and affordable resorts.

Marsa Matruh itself which is 35km from the hotel we were staying at is a den for Islamic fundamentalists, salafis and moslem brotherhood. It is not a place to be visited. Jazz hotel is in Almaza Bay which is totally separate from Marsa Matruh.
- The location of this hotel is perfect. It’s in the middle of the center and close to the beaches, restaurants, and markets.
- I booked a room with sea view. The view was great! The size is good for one person and has everything I need.
- very kind staff - the owner was super friendly and ready to help and gave all the information I need to look around this beautiful city. He suggested some good places and help me to find a driver to get there. He’s the best host I’ve met in Egypt so far.
The staff is kind but need to be trained. The beach was the best thing during our stay. On the first day we went to the beach and enjoyed it. On the second and third day the sea was full of coral reefs, the workers were trying to remove them but they were a lot. The beach is about 400 meters away from the chalets. where you also find the restaurant. You have to go to the beach to have your breakfast. It is not a hotel, it is just a place where you can rent a chalet.
Alamaza bay is one of the best beaches on the North coast. Crystal clear, calm, and long stretch of white sand.
The hotel is big, and has some amazing views, and a lot to offer. Jazz almaza was the first to open in a complex of 5 hotels. You can always pick other ones and I honestly recommend either Tamerina or Oriental.
Food is ok.

The hotel is located around cleopatra beach. Nice view and comfort room. You can go directly to the beach behind the hotel after breakfast. The manager and the staff are all very nice. We arrived late at 20:30 that day but they still help us with our luggages and provided with us great dinner. Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
You have access to all Jaz hotels in the area, you are allowed to use any swimming pool over there not only Tamerina’s swimming pool , the family room is quite big fits 2 adults and 2 kids , the beds are really comfy .. The open buffet has varieties and the taste of the food is really good .

The most amazing resort I have stayed in probably my life let alone Egypt. They give you the Maldive and cabana feel without the price tag. Everything exceeded our expectations. They cleaned our room twice daily and also offered so much more. There is no upgrade to have lunch and dinner included so just be prepared.
The animation Team was perfect either Egyptians and Italians , Room was Super Excellent Big , Clean and with a great Sea view , everyday they were surprising us by a sweet snack which was nice and Elegant ..
Hope that next year will come again .. I think i finally found my final destination in my Summer vecation ❤
