NW I was very pleasantly surprised by this lovely hotel.
It’s around 20 minutes on foot from the train station—or a couple of stops on trams 5 or 11 [dismount at Durrenhof stop].
I normally dine in Nuremberg Old Town but, due to time constraints etc, I dined in the hotel and was very pleasantly surprised.
The steak tatar, which I had as a starter, was one of the best I ever had.
The pork medallions with a mushroom sauce, rosti and vegetables was also superb and, as dish of the day, came with a complimentary glass of wine, beer or soft drink.
The following morning’s breakfast was also excellent.

We loved this location. The staff was very helpful and it rooms were very comfortable. The price was so reasonable and worth every penny. Air conditioning was very imprudent to a couple of the people in our group and it worked very well.
