As an English speaker, I was attracted by the name ( ;-) but was more than pleasantly surprised to find a thriving pub-style restaurant where an excellent breakfast was served the next day. Very attractive rooms and lovely staff meant I felt comfortable and safe the whole time. My room even had a balcony facing the rear so yes, very quiet. Good free parking in the courtyard. Easy to find on the main road of the town.

Small and lovely village near Bamberg. The local brewery "Brauereigasthof Hartmann" is worth a visit. Inexpensive meals and tasty beer. Nice place also for hiking and magnet for bikers as it is a beautiful area.
