The staff were all good and English was spoken by several. The room was comfortable. Some people have commented on the traffic at the main road near the traffic lights but we hardly heard it. The breakfast was fine.
The hotel has a big parking lot as it's part of the Ski Centre. There are the usual German shops nearby, gas stations and it's right beside the main highway between Hamburg and Berlin. There are 3 different saunas (albeit one was closed during our stay) and the breakfast was amazing with a large variety of warm and cold food. There was a kettle in the room and a fridge.
We liked very much the positive and welcoming spirit of the personnel. The late check-in was no problem for this hotel and the accommodation was the best value for money we have experienced for a while in similar places.
Fully recommended for travelers on their way to south and who need a clean, peaceful and comfortable stay for a night or more.
Basic breakfast buffet, but value for money. Service was great. Facilities were nice and clean. Hotel is a bit worn out, but very clean and nice. Personnel were friendly, and the restaurant serves great food, so we can recommend to stay in for dinner.
