Check in at a different location (2 min walk) but it was very easy. The hotel was very nice, clean and quiet. We booked two rooms, one for my wife and I, and the second for my two daughters. Both rooms were very roomy, we had plenty of space for our luggages. For breakfast we ordered eggs, and coffee was served promptly. Selections for breakfast was very good.
I wanted to have a beer after checking in so they had set up a fridge with beer and water at the hotel. This is on an honour system, we were able to enjoy the beverage and pay the next morning. Very convenient - we thank them for this!

We only stayed for 1 night to visit the town of Rothenburg of der Tauber (which wasn't long enough!). The room was spacious, had a balcony and was very quite. The breakfast was great with a very good variety (fresh bons, cheese, meats, cereal, eggs etc.). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was just 10 minutes away from Rothenburg and a not expensive parking lot (P4), which was directly on the outer town wall and a 5 minutes walk from the market place (visited the Christmas market).
Delightful hotel which is clearly run with a lot of passion and charm. It is located in a small and quiet village in the middle of Naturpark Frankenhöhe (with various hiking options directly from the hotel), yet easily reached from the motorway and within a short driving distance of various historic cities, including beautiful Rothenburg ob der Tauber.

This is a lovely, family-owned hotel with comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast (with pastries, fruit, yogurt, and cooked-to-order eggs). The staff/owners are friendly, helpful and professional and provided information and suggestions for our visit to Rothenburg. They same family owns/operates a full-service restaurant across from the hotel. We had a delicious lunch there upon our arrival. We loved everything about this hotel.
Ideal distance from the beautiful medieval city of Rothenburg that is too crowded especially on weekends. Very quiet place. Small family hotel with very clean, reconstructed rooms, some hundred meters away from the restaurant where you have to check in and where you can have excellent dinner from local products. The rich breakfast is directly in the building with the rooms. Parking places almost right under your windows.
The hotel is in a small hamlet right outside Rothenburg and is fairly new. Our room was spacious and the hotel very quiet at night. The breakfast was wonderful with many choices. The owner was looking for us when we arrived and called us by name. She oversaw the breakfasts and was extremely hospitable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this highly to other travelers.
We stayed here one night on our way home from Italy. The hotel is not far from the highway, but far enough that you can enjoy the surroundings. We could check-in in the restaurant (not far from the actual hotel) and could also have dinner there. Everyone was very friendly and the breakfast was great.
