We have stayed here many times but never on a Sunday. Great location and easy to reach. The breakfast staff were very nice, just wish the eggs were hard boiled not soft!
The restaurant is not open, nor the front door or back door. You have to ring and wait for someone to come let you in, not always very quickly.

Brilliant place by the German/ Swiss/French border- its a busy place with great access to the major highways and a hub of public transport. It has a large Turkish community which is thriving with lots of Turkish restaurants, eateries, grocery stores and really nice shisha bars. Shopping is great and youre amongst nature with the greenery around you. You have the new Galleria mall as well as the other great shopping places.

Very busy shopping center.
Very busy shopping center. Various eating places spread around. Industrial zone., Two good Kebab places plus a boring McDo where finding P is easy. Normal Lidl. Quite a nobody place to compare with major German citities and towns. Why I do not know. Too close to Switzerland?

A place close to Rhein and Basel.
A place close to Rhein and Basel. Popular shopping place for people living in Switzerland. Industrial zone. One or two decent hotels. Next to Autobahn. Does not appear to be touristic, but I only stayed in industrial zone. Most of Germany in this region is beautiful with a lot of agriculture.

Despite its train station being under construction and having a somewhat unappealing business district, Weil am Rhein offers conveninet access to the Vitra Campus and a small Altstadt area. My wife and I enjoyed an informal, outdoor pizza dinner hosted by Ali, the friendly and welcoming manager for Yusuf's restaurant on Hauptstrasse.
The hotel is in a lovely well kept building. The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant and Weinwirtschaft were closed on Sunday. The owner explained that because of labour shortage he couldn't open as much as he would like. Too bad but you can have breakfast if you want. When we left it was pouring with rain and a kind lady of the hotel accompanied me to the car with an umbrella. Great service!
Hotel very good, excellent location and food very good however quite expensive for what you get.
The hotel staff was not friendly and did not put any effort into. During diner this was observered by various guests in the restaurant.
Once again, facility, food and service good, however staff should be informed to be more Friendly as this is part of their job.
The hotel is located in a peaceful neighbourhood close to the centre of Weil am Rhein (and ideal to visit Basel) and is staffed by hospitable people. The rooms are spacious and quite at both day and night. The breakfast is delicious and has many options of both sweet and savoury dishes. I would especially recommend the porridge and coffee. Vielen Dank!
Clean hotel, near the tram station, easy to go to Basel. There is the parking underground, for free. The breakfast is very good, not so breed like in 4-5 star hotels but enough and fresh and delicious. We were really surprised that there were bio products and gluten free bread. And delicious coffee.
Great hotel in a nice location to access restaurants (sadly the hotel restaurant was closed the night we were there) and very convenient for catching a morning flight from the Basel airport. Happily, the church bells change from ringing the quarter hour to only ring the hour after 10pm.
We loved the breakfast, the staff & Maria ( owner). We would definitely recommend to friends or book ourselves again. The only downside was the cost of the taxi from the airport.
Clean, big and perfect room. free parking, the hotel is in a perfect position to visit France, Germany and Switzerland. Close to restaurants and a mall with shops and bars.
The stuff was super kind and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and yummy. There was a free parking spot aside of the hotel. You can drive to Basel in 15 minutes.
We stayed one night to rest on our way home. I wouldn’t book the hotel for a whole week but for the purpose it was convenient and good value for money.
