The owners are friendly and extremely helpful, the room was spacious with a fabulous little balcony, the breakfast was good and plentiful.
Waxweiler isn't big, but it has everything you need in a lovely location.

Nice location, very nice house. The garden is work in progress and it will be even nicer in the future. We used the sauna and loved it. Good location to explore the area. Parking was on site. The host was very nice.

Nice, good and clean rooms. But the best were the owners who took the effort to cook a very good meal for us despite the kitchen being closed that day but it was too late to find a proper restaurant in the area. Thank you again Mr. and Ms. Geimer!!

Spacious open concept with living, dining, and cooking. Bathroom with nice walk in shower, hot water a bit temperamental (boiling hot for a couple of minutes and then only lukewarm) but shower still worked well.
It's an old school house and everyone who takes on the challenge to save historical buildings earns my respect.

We were driving through and stayed in this cheap guesthouse.
The staff was very helpful and friendly.
The rooms and bathroom were very clean.
Overall nice experience and good value for money.

Waxweiler would normally be a good place to navigate from, but unfortunately the main road was closed during our stay.
During our stay also the restaurants but one were closed which meant we had to drive far to go out to eat.
On the other side of our accommodation was a nice pool, that especially our kids really liked.

The hotel is ideally situated for walks, views and explorations. The hosts are amazing and really, really helpful. We were given the room with the balcony and had fantastic views. The room itself was large and very comfortable, as was the bed. The hairdryer in the bathroom was a definite bonus.
We were at the front side of the hotel which is directly opposite a church. If you are a light sleeper bring some earplugs so you won't get woken up at 7 o'clock by the lovely chimes of the church bells.
Breakfast was really good, fresh juice, bread and bread rolls, meat, cheese and jam and percolated coffee!!
Added bonus...... cuddles with Luca (Luka) the poodle!!! xxx
Downside ...... the break was too short!!
Eiscafe Italia is a must for icecreams and drinks on a hot day, Pizzeria Kebap Haus has some truly scrumptious meals, Hotel am Schwimmbad provides with some heart meals which you can eat on the terrace so that you can enjoy some great views.
Overall a fantastic place to stay but definitely need more than 2 nights!!

Small quiet village, 45 mins from Luxembourg and Belgium, great base for day trips around. We did not stay much there besides sleeping but we found the people very friendly and the village very clean and green
