The breakfast was good but could be better, Soap supply was rather strange, in my bathroom it was difficult to press sth out of the tube. And only one soap for hands, body and hair. Spa was really nice.

Room was bigger than expected. it was clean and bed was comfortable. Hotel provides a good Wifi connection.
Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant is also exceptional. If I need to go Hitzacker or nearby cities, I will definetely stay Hotel Hitzacker again.

The hotel has a lot of old world charm with a touch of Chinoiserie. There is a lovely back yard. Breakfast is plentiful. The location is right downtown, just minutes walking time from just about any place in the core town. The host provided a resident parking permit, so one does not have to feed the parking meter.
