Breakfast and breakfast room very good, again with views over the river. We stopped here on route to Munich, the old town is well worth a visit.

Tübingen is one of my favorite cities. It's walkable, has lots of good restaurants, and lots of character. Eating out can be pricey, but there are lots of places to get groceries, or fruit and sandwiches during the day, and places in town and along the river to picnic. Best things to do include enjoying a favorite beverage in the square in front of the Rathaus, walking in the Schönbuch Nature Reserve, or a side trip/hike to the village of Bebenhausen and its medieval monastery-turned-royal hunting lodge. If you like boats, you can also rent a variety of them to explore the Neckar river, which runs through the town.

Tübingen is a beautiful little town about an hour south of Stuttgart. It has one of the most extensive and beautiful Old Towns in the area. There is a large variety of shops and eateries, including a good selection for vegan and vegetarian individuals. There are natural and historical sights to see in the area. For example, there are paddle boats, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards for rent as well as hiking trails in the area. You might also enjoy some of the castle and museum amenties offered by the university. I would spend at least two days in the area.

We chose Ibis Styles because of its proximity to our son's residence and also to the city center and major locales which are all within walking distance of the property. The construction work going on in front of the hotel was a spoil-sport but the hotel ensured there was no noise in the rooms. The wi-fi and other basic amenities were available and the staff were extremely cordial, however we found that the room lacks a wardrobe and since we stayed for 11 days, it was difficult to manage out of a couple of suitcases in a small room. The food that we ate was excellent (vegan, vegetarian) although there are options to suit every palate.

I loved my short break in Tubingen, and would have loved to stay longer, the place is absolutely beautiful and has a lovely relaxed vibe, loads of beautiful little bakeries and coffee shops and some lovely restaurants.
The bus and train service is excellent for exploring other cities and tourist attractions. Overall, I cant wait to go back.

The town was lovely. What was unexpected was that pretty much everything was closed Christmas Eve day and the day after Christmas (12/26). We were unaware of this tradition and may have planned a bit differently.
Good location close to the old town one the banks of the river. Very pretty town. Room was reasonably large. Storage was in an open format e.g. no wardrobes with doors. Breakfast was excellent with ready made eggs to order, bakery selection, and spreads. Our room was facing the river but in a building located adjacent to the hotel lobby. That building also had businesses on other floors so the lift was shared. Staff were friendly.

Location is easy, if you arrive by train, as you can just leave the train station on the back end and walk to the hotel in less than 10 minutes. A very comfortable stay! The room was clean, the bed comfortable, I had everything that I needed. The location is great, there is a bus stop 2 minutes from the hotel, and it goes directly to the city center and main station in Tübingen. Great place to stay in Tübingen with very good facilities. Particularly liked the separate storage spaces in the refrigerator in the kitchen. The view from the room was very nice as well. Slightly uphill if you want to go there by walk but good public transport options also available with the bus stop nearby.
Our host was simply fabulous! We were greeted earlier than expected because we arrived in Tubingen early. We were given keys and an easy walk through. We were offered help anytime we asked for it. The host was so generous and the place was lovely. Amazing views from the windows, clean air, outdoor seating.
The breakfast was fine - typical German style with bread and cheese/meats/salad plus fruit etc. We are vegan so we made do with bread and jam!

The location is good. It takes just 1 bus stop to come from the main railway station to the Hotel area. There was perfect cleanliness in the room. The room was cleaned each day and towels were always fresh. Classic german-like bread breakfast. Cheaper than most of the Tubingen hotels.
The apartment is very comfortable, close to the public transport and supermarket. The decoration was elegant, with books with old photos os Tübingen. When I woke up I could hear the birds singing in the courtyard. I was very well received and recommend the accommodation.
The hotel location was superb for touring around the city! The receptionist went out of the way to help me with an e-bike rental - tracking down the person who'd taken the incorrect key with another bike. Breakfast had everything I could want
This is a neat little apartment in itself - one can see the owners took care of arranging the place. Also, the location is really close to the Tubingen clinics (what we needed), which is why it is unbeatable in that respect.
Staff were very helpful and we were allowed to leave our car opposite the hotel. Had a very nice dinner in the hotel's restaurant. Fantastic location near the castle and the heart of the old town.
