Excellent location between all the beautiful villages and whineyards of the mosel valley. For us, it was a perfect spot for day trips to visit different castles and do hiking.
The Gästehaus is large with a spacious terrace for cozy evening dinners and breakfasts.
A pleasant surprise for us, was the great selection of wines available at the gästhaus, all made by the owner. I can highly recommend the fruity delicious halbtrocken Riesling white wines.
The owners were very helpful and helped us with everything we needed to know about the mosel valley.

The local restaurants served excellent food, a lot of pork dishes, (I’m not a vegetarian).
The whole area was clean and had a lot of families and older people, not a loud youth’s kind of place.
Could have done with some local shops selling bread and milk though.
The hotel is amazing is close to all the small towns and nature around . We visited the beautiful castles around is only 25 min in car .
