As an English speaker, I was attracted by the name ( ;-) but was more than pleasantly surprised to find a thriving pub-style restaurant where an excellent breakfast was served the next day. Very attractive rooms and lovely staff meant I felt comfortable and safe the whole time. My room even had a balcony facing the rear so yes, very quiet. Good free parking in the courtyard. Easy to find on the main road of the town.

Great location in the middle of the new town. Very clean, staff fantastic, breakfast plentiful.
The hotel is refined, peaceful, rural with an excellent restaurant & run by friendly helpful staff who understand fine hospitality. It was perfect! Delicious breakfasts & meals & my dog was made very welcome too. The property is set in a large park with gorgeous walks in every direction, in an idyllic village.
I really liked my stay at this hotel, I've got an upgrade to a suite, which was super comfortable, comfy bed, large bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Location is outside of Bamberg but great for cycling, with a car you are going to be just fine, close to tourist attractions.
The hotel has a large garden. It is very beautiful. The swimming pool is a small lake. We were looking for a family friendly place. The place hits most of points. The staff were friendly. The food is also good. Had a relaxing and quite family time.
