Wonderful half-timbered house in the centre of a town which has an amazing architecture. The room and the bathroom were clean and spatious, breakfast was good, the staff very friendly. The Georgian restaurant downstairs offers tasty meals. There is a parking lot in the street nearby which can be used (the hotel does not have its own parking). All the major sights and museums are within walking distance. There is some street noise outside, as can be expected from such a location but if the windows are shut, this is not a problem. I do recommend this small hotel.

The apartments are exceptional - spacious, perfectly clean, beds are very comfortable. Kitchen has all supplies one may possibly need during travel. They even left some water, beer, cookies and chocolates for us. The design of the apartment is amazing too.

This hotel is a scam ! There is no heating system! It was 8 degrees Celsius in the room. There is no staff, there is no support. I requested both the property and booking.com to refund the money paid in advance and they refused. I vacated the room the day I arrived as it was impossible to live in these conditions. I will also file a complaint with the German authorities!!
Good location not to far to walk to the centre of town. Felt like a proper traditional german hotel, staff especially the manger/owner was really friendly.
