We liked the spacious room with a balcony and view over the fields. We also very much liked the friendly and professional waitress in the restaurant where we had a meal in the evening.

The 4-star Maifeld Sport- und Tagungshotel is located in the outskirts of Werl, offering a variety of fitness and spa facilities. Guests can enjoy drink and snacks in the beer garden.
Excellent location just off the motorway. Cheap, quiet and comfortable room perfect for 1 night stay. Food was actually much better than you could expect from motorway services. Staff spoke English so there were no issues with communication. This was our second time and , like previously, it didn't disappoint. There is a cheeky shortcut behind the hotel towards nearby city (Hamm) not requiring you to return to motorway, where you can refuel significantly cheaper than on a motorway (about 5 minutes by car to Shell petrol station).
Comfortable with good wifi. Convenient location if you're in the middle of a journey as it's just off the motorway. A great breakfast for 13 euros each. Luckily we had a room on the side of the hotel not facing the motorway - I'd imagine it's pretty noisy if you're on the other side.
I like the location and accessibility of the hotel. Rooms are nice and beds are very comfortable. We'll definitely rent a room there again when we travel.
