The location was great, just what we wanted, quiet country road, kids went off exploring and thought it was great to walk to the Netherlands. Breakfast was lovely as were the staff. We loved this place, the evening meal was also very nice.

The proprietor was especially welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Quiet setting in a residential area, which suited me fine. Secure parking for my bike in the garage. Freindly staff, easy check in and out, hotel is clean, basic with good facilities such as a fridge, hairdryer,small balcony, great/hot sauna. Steamroom was out of order, jacuzzi was on a coin basis and relaxing. Location of the hotel is located looking over the Rhein, great for a nice walk along the promenade. Also close to historical places such as Xanten, really worth a visit, or approximately an hour's drive to Dusseldorf for example.
The hotel and location was beautiful. We got a real family vibe and the whole experience made us feel similar to staying with relatives. The hotel looks stunning, and the restaurant is really good.

Accommodation was great. Unfortunately because of my travel route I was much later than expected. The owner was friendly even though I was four hours later than I thought. Very clean and quiet. Slept very well. Would have liked to explore Haldern and Rees but no time.
