We booked a barrel room. It was clean and had everything we needed. Basically it's like camping but more comfortable. The location is excellent and we could park close to our barrel. They are very good value. Some of the rooms the contactors were in looked pretty nice from a distance.

Anna waited for us even though we arrived late after check-in time. To our surprise, we were happy to know that we had a room upgrade with more space and amenities. The hotel is placed centrally in the small town of Ratekau, with walking distance to the bakery, supermarket and nature walks. There is a car charger conveniently close, in the City Hall parking.
This is an exceptional hotel, in a very cosy village. The breakfast was way beyond what I have experieced so far.
We all had an excellent stay, spacious rooms, calm and confortable, just like home.
It is not often I sleep well the first night away - Here I did!
