Our stay at this beachside hotel was a remarkable experience. Its proximity to the beach was a major highlight, complemented by an array of on-site activities that kept us entertained during the winter windstorm.
The cleanliness and spaciousness of our room, along with a well-equipped kitchen, made our stay comfortable and convenient. The view from the upper levels is absolutely stunning.
The hotel’s dog-friendly policy was appreciated, though it’s worth noting that it applies only up to the 4th floor and specifically to the twin bedrooms with single beds. However, the beds can be easily connected, which was a handy feature.
Dining here was a culinary delight. The breakfast offered a wide range of delicious choices, ensuring a great start to the day. The dinner, especially the fish soup and fish and chips, was of top quality and highly enjoyable. Dogs are also accepted in the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast, major major plus.

Hotel probably up to standard 1950...
- Windows leaking wind when windy outside, both cold and a lot of noise when wind are forcing thru gaps in the window joints..
- Piping old and not "noise free" .
- Walls thin-walled, very easy to hear being disturbed by other guest and their doing, talking, flushing toilets etc.
- Both sink and 10cm bath tub/shower clogged. Standing in 7cm of water talking my shower - felt .... yak.
- Beakfast close to a joke - varm food - yes, but warm food including everything else is very scarce, food is constantly running out. 7 pax in tiotal i n restaurang, 09.05h, brakfast ends 10.00h.
Our brekfast, 2 pax, took 55 min, and we had a new meal shortly after on the road as well.
The hotel was really close (ferry close XD) to the ferry. You can enjoy breakfast untill the last moment before boarding and when you leave you'll be on the boat in a few minutes at most. Staff is also really helpfull and agreeable to help.
The hotel is situated only a couple of minutes from the ferry port of Puttgarden-Rödby. It covers all the basic needs of an occasional traveller. The dinner and breakfast were good.
Staff was helpful, friendly and the atmosphere was very "german country hotel" We enjoyed our stay, evening meal and breakfast and can easily recoommend for travellers. .
I liked the location of the Hotel and the view from the rooms. The Hotel restaurant was very beautiful and it felt like eating at a very high rated restaurant.
Hotel was closed when I arrived. Had received no code for entering. Tried to call the number given 4-5 times. No answer. Later slept in the car in Denmark.
