The place is like a piece of heaven. The house is very beautiful, clean and nicely decorated. They have comfortable beds. We loved the surroundings, hills, cows, and beautiful views in a quiet place. The breakfast was lekker and the terrace is a nice addition. The hosts are very friendly, they welcomed us 2 hours after the end of the check in time, at 23.00. Thank you very much for everything! We will definitely come back!

Super cosy, clean and very well-equipped house in a small village in the beautiful Thuringian Forrest. Very nice, caring, responsive and helpful hosts. Nice scenic and historic place on the border of the former GDR. The Bauhaus hotel is an absolute highlight! Also the staff is very helpful and the restaurant in the hotel has excellent traditional and regional meals, wines and beers. The rooms are good with new made Bauhaus furniture, so the quality is good. No air conditioning on the rooms, but we actually didn't miss this facility this hot summer of 2022.

Convenient on-site restaurant serving microwaved food is the only food option in Probstzella apart from takeaway pizza near the train station.
