Late check-in was well organized and effortless. Communication with the staff was pleasant. Both the room as well as the bathroom were of a very good size. The complementary coffee in the room was a nice extra.

This hotel lies in the Lauenburgische Seen nature park on a peninsula which makes up the centre of the town of Ratzeburg and separates the lovely Domsee and Küchensee lakes.

The rooms are much more comfortable as expected when we did enter the hotel.
There was a bit disappointment when we enter the hotel, because of the old fashioned style of the lobby, restaurant etc. But the rooms are actually pretty nice.

The property and views across the Ratzeburger See are outstanding. Great location just 10 mins to Ratzeburg and 20 mins to Lübeck and the little Imbissbude at the bottom of the property is very convenient for a quick snack. Like how they say Moin (morning) at all times of the day. :)
Wonderful and would highly recommend it to friends, family and anyone reading this review.
