Pirna is an ideal base if you want to explore Saxon Switzerland. The Old Town is compact but very lovely. It has very tranquil ambiance, which suits travelers seeking a peaceful getaway. For the people to love old architecture, Pirna is a gem as it is completely unspoiled with modern concrete monsters. There are many great restaurants and cafes within the Old Town, though most close quite early. From Pirna, it only takes within less than 1 hour to get to Bastei, Bad Schandau or other smaller towns.
This place nearby Piran is very cosy, comfortable and is placed close to the Elbe River. This apartment is very good for two persons for medium or long stay. One of the main and the most beautiful town of Saxony, Dresden is very close from this place (about 30 minutes by train or car). Other places which are worth to visit like Konigstein fortress or a stone bridge in Bastei are also not far from this place. I'd like to recomend stay in Piran in Ferienwohnung Elbtraum to others also because of owner who is very helpful.
Really roomy, well equipped, spotlessly clean apartment. You can self cater if you want to, or you are close to bars and restaurants of altstadt Pirna if you prefer. Supermarket and bakery right across the road, and right behind that was the bridge across the Elbe that takes you directly to the railway station or into the pretty town centre with a 10-20 minute walk. Super location for day trips into Dresden - about a 30 minute rail trip - or going down the Elbe to explore the excellent walking tracks.
We had a very enjoyable experience in this apartment. It was clean, quiet, warm, comfortable, well equipped and located. In fact, I have not had a better bed on my travels. I would happily have stayed much longer than the 5 days I was there as the city of Pirna has a lot to offer. It is only a 20 minute train ride to Dresden and only 20 minutes to Bad Schandau and the Saxon Switzerland national park. The owners were very attentive to our needs. Wifi worked well. I recommend this apartment highly
Nice and cozy apartment close to Pirna city center and main roads. The location is great if you want to explore natural beauties around. There is a lot of parking options available nearby, including e-car charging spots. The store is close if you need to buy something.
The hosts are really great and despite that we did a small mistake with the booking, they came forward and helped us even though it was a holiday.
I loved this apartment. It was spacious, bright, and had a beautiful view. You could borrow bikes from the owner, there was a small kitchen and dining area in your apartment and a shared kitchen and large dining room in the lobby area. The bed was comfortable, wifi was good and the facilities were great. A 10 minute walk to the ferry crossing to get to Pirna.

Cafe and Biergarten right outside. It is a few minutes walk downhill to the marketplace, where there is a really good breakfast restaurant Canaletto, this is highly recommended.

Nice quiet location not so far from Pirna train station (25 minutes of walking). The room was big and clean. The hosts are nice and super friendly. There is a small pool, but unfortunately, the weather was not so hot to try it out. I believe it would be perfect in the evening after a long day of hiking.
Quiet location, but very easy walk to the square and restaurants/supermarket. We came to Pirna to begin the Malerweg hike, and it was an easy 20 min walk to the bus stop

Cozy, comfortable hotel. 30 min on foot to the city center, but the administrator also gave us bus tickets, the bus station is near the hotel. Good breakfast and the restaurant menu in general. Nice atmosphere. Internal parking.
Nice clean room, nice breakfast (maybe not exceptional, but what did you expect?), nice choice of traditional meals, beer, and wine in the hotel restaurant, which serves 5-10 pm (kitchen closes at 9 pm).
