Extremely comfortable beds - it is rare for me to fall asleep in a hotel during just one overnight stay. Nicely rich, good weighted duvet and high-quality mattresses meant we fell asleep quickly and had a refreshing rest. No wonder this pace is a hit with bicycle riders, the plaque said, a winner of "Bike and Bett" awards.We were chaperoned to our rooms, which were ultra clean, fresh and pleasant. Found the location to be quite nice and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the motorway. This was definitely a highlight of my stay. However, I must say that I found the rest of the amenities to be quite basic. The room was comfortable enough, but lacked any special touches or amenities that would make it stand out. The same can be said for the dining options and other facilities on the property.
