The hotel is fabulous - and for us it was more of an apartment. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. There is a separate restaurant within the hotel and their food is FAB-U-LOUS!! We had schnitzels for our meal twice as they were the best we'd ever had! All the food was perfectly presented - we were very impressed. There is a bicycle trail at the back of the hotel which is busy and brings in more customers for the restaurant😄 Hubby walked from Trier centre along the Mosel and it took him 2 hours. Would love to re-visit.

It is always warm, no insects, no mice, hot water is always available. Breakfast is tasty and the service is excellent. Extremely comfortable beds - it is rare for me to fall asleep in a hotel during just one overnight stay. Nicely rich, good weighted duvet and high-quality mattresses meant we fell asleep quickly and had a refreshing rest. No wonder this pace is a hit with bicycle riders, the plaque said, a winner of "Bike and Bett" awards.We were chaperoned to our rooms, which were ultra clean, fresh and pleasant. Found the location to be quite nice and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the motorway. This was definitely a highlight of my stay. However, I must say that I found the rest of the amenities to be quite basic. The room was comfortable enough, but lacked any special touches or amenities that would make it stand out. The same can be said for the dining options and other facilities on the property.
